I am using bitcoin as both I am using it for my investment in the future and also I am using it to buy things which are easily available to me to buy online but as a lot of things are not available with bitcoin so I will have to convert them to fiat to buy them.

You are right but for me I am using it mainly as a investment thing at most of the time and rarely as a currency, for example when I have to pay my dad who is in another country, it is currency for me and when I have to invest in gambling sites its investment tool for me.

Well no doubt that today, most people treat this currency as an investment. We all know what is the reason of this. Like in your case.

Profits, earnings etc - these are the reasons why people tend to use this currency as an investment.

What do you mean invest by money? You mean depositing it in banks? If yes then don't, banks will let your money go to inflation and making you lose more rather than earning.

But a currency as well.
Because you can buy anything now with bitcoin with thousands of merchants all around the world.

Well people tend to use their fiat to take care of their regular spending to their things like.

Bitcoin's role to them is to take care of whatever possible profits they can get if they are using it as an investment.

i think ivestment does't mean that to deposit in banks. but it means to do some kind of business using bitcoin. mean to use it for income and not to use it for your needs. so i think most of the poeple are investing bitcoin for more income.

i also treat it as a normal money i.e as a currency because i dont have that much bitcoins to use be able to use them as investment. I earn only some small amounts to normally i do gambling with them whenever i win big i withdraw them to fiat and start off again.

At this moment, I'm investing my bitcoins but I know later on I will sell them on the right time that I can able to make profit. It is hard to make this as currency with a small amount, you need to gather more satoshis so you can save those charges and fees.

As said, for now i use the btc for investment and once i see a good rise in value and find it is reasonable i will exchange the btc to my currency and use for my daily expense.

Everyone is treating bitcoin as an investment to earn profits from it but that is actually bad for the future of bitcoins, as it should be used as a currency and should be spent regularly which will take its price to higher level in future.

Actually those who are using bitcoins a investment are also using it as a currency, because bitcoins is a currency and we can not invest something that is not a currency anywhere because no one will accept something like that.

I would have to say the same. I use most of my bitcoins as an investment, although I feel a little bad since bitcoin is some sort of a way for me to avoid taxes for now. I use around 20% of my coins as currency though, since I also want to buy stuff with my bitcoins.

you are right bitcoin still not possible in so many country for using it directly, and there are so many people convert it into fiat then use it to directly but i hope so we will soon get a facility to receive bitcoin in anywhere like in shopping center , restaurant , hospital and other companies .

At the moment, I am using it only as a currency, but as I don't get much money in Bitcoin( only signature campaigns and services), I will probably use it as an investment in the near future, too. I will probably invest like 60% or so and leave the rest 40% for spending on something or save the Bitcoins for something more expensive or just save money. So, I will use it as both, very soon.

Voted for the third option. I use it for both. I use the bigger part as investment (80-90%). The rest is used as "currency", meaning I use it to buy mainly digital assets or services. I would also use it offline in cafes or restaurants but in my area there are still no or less shops accepting Bitcoin.

I am very interested of all plans and the steps you took to get the advantage in the bitcoin. But I doubt your calculation in investing in various sites, which could have been from one of the sites using the system the hype/ponzi, etc. that could harm you. so look at the reworked some of the sites that you have used to invest, to ensure the security

I use bitcoin purely as investment and I think I am doing an wise thing. Because bitcoin has the power to make few of my dreams come true and I am slowly and steadily heading toward that.

Bitcoin price is dynamic and has the capability to go up to any number. I expect that bitcoin price will go up to $2500 within next 3 years. Waiting for that!
