What I understand with the topic is that, when we are in the situation that we really need money and what are we going to do to solve the problem.

Desperation in this topic means when there is an emergency and you need money. Well if we really are saving some money we can earn a huge amount but think about this what if a serious emergency came in and your years of saving is not enough. Then for me I probably sell my house and land just to get over with it if it is a life and death situation. If you have bitcoins then you are really not in need of money because bitcoin is also a money of one kind, if someone is in desperate need of money it means they have nothing to sell nor anything to exchange to cash, and in such cases someone has to take a loan or to work immediately for money.

Honestly in my own life i always need money because i have my family and need to live. sometimes i am desperate and asking for a loan for my friends or sometimes here in our forum but i can pay once i got my salary from my job..  this is always happening in our life for those who are living with family and need to live.. unlike in other country that actually supported by government..
So if you have extra money always do a saving also collecting bitcoin is a good part time job so that you can have savings incase of emergency you can withdraw your bitcoin into money.

I was touched by your experience because I have been in that situation many times in my life, good thing I am a good payor so every time I ask for loan again, it will be easy for me. Savings is really important as we cannot ascertain the future, emergencies can happen so we better prepare for it.

I would try my best to get a loan from my friends or from a bank because i would not try to sell immediately my bitcoins as i have kept my bitcoins as a long term investment. But if i am not able to get loan, then i have to sell my bitcoins only as a last option.

Yes I do agree this is the natural thing to do if things go really bad for you but if given the chance to act and you  have some assets well can probably trade them for cash or take out a loan to sort out the desperate moment .

but i think if you really need money, and you have some bitcoins in your account i think you can cash it or change it in to your fiat currency with in minutes therefore you do not need to take loan from any person, as can exchange my bitcoin into my fiat currency and can get the amount within 3 days.
