Football fans have waited for too long for league resumes. Whatever the league is, they will all interested in football matches. Especially there are many nations have still maintained their lockdowns. People have felt so tired of quarantine and lockdowns. Football matches will help them improve their mentality status a little bit. Starting with Bundesliga and maybe the other biggest leagues in the Europe soon, if there will be no seriously changes.
And they should be able to wait even longer, then in that case,,, as they realize now like I have that I feel lost without football yes,,, but I also will not die from it:) Anyway, let us not forget the fight is not over. People still have to fight daily and live with this disease. Remember them in our football;)

I'm definitely going to be sitting with beer and telly. You guys all know I love an upset and I'm going to stick with my guns and go for a Berlin upset, particularly as we've got no idea how unfit any of the players are. Could be a riot! But I'll back down from Hertha and go for a parlay of Hoffenheim/Gladbach/Koln at a nice 10/1 with price boost! Good luck everyone!

-snip-particularly as we've got no idea how unfit any of the players are. -snip-
Today a team of the Austrian Bundesliga was convicted of fraud. Hidden cameras were installed in their training center to prove that the team had continued training despite the ban of regular team training sessions. The team justified itself with close meshed Covid tests whereby an infection was next to impossible, how the Bundesliga reacts to it remains to be seen. I do not assume that this was the only team that continued training despite the ban, but it was the first team that was convicted - and only because cameras could be installed in case of a break-in. So I honestly do not assume that the teams and players are in bad shape ... Clubs in Austria are only supposed to hold training for small groups of players under social distancing regulations before full training begins Friday. But the league says it was sent multiple videos showing “a regular team training session” which supposedly took place “recently.” LASK has been charged with a violation of fair-play principles. The team could be fined or have points deducted. Source

As previously requested, we have some NASCAR markets up on site now. Awesome, thanks for making this happen!!! I'm pretty sure Bundesliga will take all the attention this weekend but it's nice to see something other than vidya games. Thank you and your management for adding NASCAR markets. Gotta do some research/handicapping to make some juicy bets on those races There will be no qualifications, no practice laps, nothing...it screams unexpected results imo. That's why i will probably go with some drivers with very high odds to get in the top 5. As for the winner, my wild guess is Kevin Harvick, bookmakers have him 2nd or 3rd behind Kyle Busch.

And you are not wrong with what you are anticipating regarding the viewership for Bundesliga. "Germany legend Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has claimed the Bundesliga will have an audience of “billions” this weekend – and will be a great advert for his nation The Bundesliga is now the first major league in the world to start playing again.."https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/bundesliga-anticipating-audience-billions-fans-22024125 Football fans have waited for too long for league resumes. Billions could be a bit too much far stretch. There is this thing about the world of viewership where your reach and your viewer number are different. Just to give an example world cup in football has the biggest reach usually (with somehow royal family marriages as well??...) which means people from all around the world, over 5 billion people CAN watch it, like it is on their television as well no matter where they are living. Normally let's say you are watching a football game from your nation, do you think EVERYONE all around the world can watch at that moment? Usually only the big leagues could reach there, other leagues have like 3-5 countries they can sell rights to and that's about it. So, Bundesliga will be available to billions of people, but I do not think all of them will watch it.

@Lakai well, I didn't expect everyone to be following the rules at all, but I certainly didn't expect entire clubs to sanction such flouting of common good rules. Some things are irresponsible, other things are downright nasty and that's a bit of both. Oh well.
Who else is all prepped for Bundesliga? If I get even one of three bets right today, I'm in profit. Anyone trying out the streak? Was shitty at it for EPL... But 3 hours and counting!

Here are my picks for some of today's games in Bundesliga. To celebrate the return of BUNDESLIGA, here are my tips for some games of it. Enjoy! *These tips will not count to my stats here in this thread.Take Borussia Dortmund over Schalke 04 (9:30 a.m., Saturday, May 16) Take Hoffenheim over Hertha Berlin (9:30 a.m., Saturday, May 16) Take Wolfsburg over Augsburg (9:30 a.m., Saturday, May 16) This also sounds nuts, but I would actually play the Draw on all five of the 9:30 a.m. EST matches in the Bundesliga on Saturday morning. If you played them all for 2.0 Units apiece then you only need two of the five to Draw to show a profit. If one of those two games are the Schalke or Leipzig matches then you are going to clean up. Just an idea.

It was really strange though to see a match was played without audience. It looked like an exhibition match (literally as well because of the 4-0)

I watched the game, it was kind of weird, you could hear the players a lot which was odd. I had an accumulator & started off as I usually do......by losing There’s no atmosphere but I don’t care I’m just glad to be able to watch live football again.

FOOOOTBAAAALLLL!! I can't believe we are finally watching it again, I am both super excited about it and very afraid about it as well. Bundesliga started very early compared to all other places which is awesome for them because they could make a lot more money this way since nobody else is playing so people all around the world will be watching Bundesliga, but they are also taking a bigger risk than everyone else.
If one player ends up with a corona on their system it will be a lot more risky as well, if it is a lot more risky that kind of means that they are putting it all out on the field for what could happen. Just because Bundesliga started now, it might mean cancellation of some other leagues, how? Well bundesliga is an example and if they get sick all of a sudden like 5-10 players, they will postpone again, and that will result with other leagues will postpone or even maybe cancel.

So, congratulations to those who followed these crazy bets! The Dusseldorf-Paderborn (3.60 ODDS on DRAW) and RB Leipzig-Freiburg (5.75 ODDS on DRAW) games ended up both on tied games and provided us some huge winnings. Really glad that I saw these odds lined up to each other. Made it easy for me to formulate a simple computation on how to make some profits from Bundesliga.

While some might be happy that football is returning, I wanted to ask something about it. It seems to be a fact that fan support has significant impact on the way the team is playing. Some research even suggests that the team is 20% more likely to lose without the support of the fans ( see here). While that research was based on the time in Argentina when only the supporters of the home team were allowed in the stadiums which is not what's going on right now, do you think the outcome of the games could be different if the fans were present? Should the fan support be taken into consideration when it comes to placing the bets, does the current situation change much in this regard in your opinion?

Fans support is a plus for the team but in these case both team doesn't have physical supports so they are equal with this matter and the only thing we need to consider is how the roosters are in condition to play right now, we now the quarantine days is so long and provably some of them got rusty for being jailed at the house for a while. If theirs a lacking player upon their comeback maybe that can affect on betting since maybe the other half who's complete may get the higher bet placed.

@LFC_Bitcoin: I'm not sure I'll ever get over it, but yeah it really sounds like you're right there on training. I'm so glad they decided not to play the "scoring soundtrack" I always found that weird and hearing it boom around an empty stadium sounds creepy af. I always thought that was a bit too American for me too heh.
@JanpriX well you smashed the draws! I actually didn't realise Leipzig had such a huge odds on them to draw, and tomahawk also I think thought many draws were to be expected, so good on you guys!
I need Bayern to go down today to get my first profits from post-lockdown footie =D
