Arsenal is really good this season and they are joy to watch. Lifting trophies is a whole different level though, I am not sure this team is still ready to play on the result and you will have to win some matches when it isn't your day. I am actually quite sad that their encounter with City next week is postponed. That game would tell us a lot about actual ability to challenge for PL title.

They are definitely good enough to challenge for Europa League title, but there will be some big teams dropping from CL as well. Barca has to win Europa League to at least offset their debts a little bit. When they were selling future profits all the calculations were made with them reaching at least quarter finals in CL. That pays much better then even a title in EL.

Yes, but also because the Premier League its a tier 1 competition and the EuropaLeague its a tier 2 competition.

You can remember also Liverpool has this trouble, they were champion of UCL but the fans want the Premier so much after a lot of years of no winning that one.
