Daily traders always play with any new related to bitcoin, last year the hack of the exchange made price fail almost instant, even not being a good new to crypto world, whales took advantage of it to dump bitcoin price, this year we had a pump from December that stopped at January making bitcoin to hit 800 dollars.

I don't think that price of bitcoin will fall that low to $800 in coming days price is going down at a moment due to ETF got rejected and it may go even lower in coming days but we won't see price below $1000 in coming days so even if price goes down no need to panic and hold your coins for the right time to sell.

Ofcourse it will have a huge effect on bitcoin and on its price.Panic selling at low amount will keep the buy order lower and lower so panic sellers will sell that for their low buy order so they can get a cheap bitcoin

I thought that the price per Bitcoin was going to drop because of the ETF getting rejected by the SEC. When the holders are talking about something a bunch while the news isn't out yet and the negative results happen, the whole value of Bitcoin dumps (not to $0.00, maybe 10% or so). I think that a huge dump will affect people because there is a bunch of panic sellers within the trading exchanges and when the price goes back up then the cycle continues. It wouldn't be that surprising to see someone trying to manipulate Bitcoin prices.

But now, bitcoin price is over $1000. I am not do panic selling even the price is dropped. I think the domination of whales will be end, I am pretty sure that the users of bitcoin is still increase and bitcoin spreading will be better.

In my experience, The panic selling is for not experience  here in bitcoin or didn't know the market speculation. For me if the price drop down I will wait because I know that bitcoin price will pump again and for every year that is happening dump once pump twice. If you trust bitcoin you will not do the panic selling.

What is wrong with those selling idiots? Why we have panic selling when ETF was never even close to being accepted? Are they stupid?
Bitcoin holders & traders never cease to amaze me, this community is build on unrealistic expectations and wishful thinking.

I don’t think it is like that, they simply don't care about bitcoin they care about the profits, so when you see it from their perspective then their actions make perfect sense, they wait until the ETF news, when the news are negative they sell, and get profits, the price gets lower and then they buy again, it makes sense.

Why is it so difficult? Just waiting for the another bad news will try to attack bitcoin and we will see the panic market. I think the news is the critical point for the bitcoin market. The huge dump by a single person and with the following the bad news will give the big impact for the bitcoin market.

A single person's decision to dump will affect the market if he is holding a good portion of the total bitcoins in circulation, if not, it's useless. The price may fall more in the future but we are more aware that the reason is not serious enough to make the smart people do the same action.
They will just buy the cheap bitcoins for the dumper and sell it when the price get back, I guess they are successful because they are smart.

Under this, with slight decline say $20-30, people grow panic and do mass selling. This lead to increase in supply as compared to demand. As a result, prices decline which can be upto $200-300. This is one of the main reason for volatility of btc prices.

Panic selling is just normal for this kind of field because it is free to anyone to those want to buy and sell because bitcoin can't be controlled by any people or any organization or even government so i think it is not a big deal if we experience panic selling because panic selling and panic buying is always depend on the situation, if bad news or rumors occurs then you can expect panic selling and the opposite of bad news or rumors will do the panic buying. That is simple and i'm sure that almost of us are used to this kind of scenario.

The folks you refer to in your post are not panic sellers by any means

They rather seem to be the ones who actually profit from panic sellers and likely the ones who instigate panic selling in the first place. Panic typically means that you are overwhelmed with blind terror (as in a panic attack), in this case for the fear of suffering heavy losses (likely losing all your investment). If you sell to book profits, this can hardly have anything to do with panic. When you are panic selling, it is assumed that you have already incurred massive losses and blindly close your positions to save the rest of your capital

That is what a trader should think. Traders don't care for the panics that might be happening in the market because somehow they know that it will calm down and the price will be back at the normal. We can take advantage of that panic selling to get those dumps and be ready for the pump later, It is easy because a lot of us already know what to do in trading and that is buy low sell high so it's easy for us to make profit in those panic selling scenarios.

The fact is people starts believing the rumors spread by the people around them without doing any research on their own if they start listening negative news about bitcoins they start assuming that its an end of bitcoin and price will fall to an extreme level but if at that point they manage to hold their coin tightly instead of getting panic then results would be different for them at the end.

Yes the price will never ever go such low as bitcoin has gained enough popularity in the market and all those who are new to bitcoin are waiting for the price to dip so that they can but more bitcoin and save it for future because they are aware that when the value drops down that is not forever and the value will be increased again in short span but before a year and half the situation was completely different people used to sell bitcoin once the price starts reducing as if there is no tomorrow but now people are aware that bitcoin is forever so they don't sell off everything once the value dips.

Everyone has their own evaluation on what is currently happening with the market and we cannot say we are right or they are wrong as we have different journey here. Panic selling will happen because of their worries but when the price will rise again, I think they will again by which makes them lose in the long run. In my case, I will not panic because I weigh things before making a decision.

I do think you're right about whether or not the decision is based on a balanced information (to the extent that is possible, having access to all information is rarely possible) is the determining factor in whether or not it is panic selling. I don't think profitability is relevant, nor speed alone the determinant. Although I wouldn't say that panic selling is possible without speed, speed alone doesn't make it. And on profitability, if you're sitting on a $1000 gain and the price crashes and you rush to sell for no other reason than to protect your what little profit is left, is that disqualified as a panic sell? I wouldn't say it is either, though I think some people require actual losses in order for the selling action of be deemed "panicking" for them.
