Yes there's effect maybe some of hoders sell threir bitcoin and some make a panic selling. But i think some are holding their bitcoin because they know once bitcoin down the price thet will pump it again.

Panic selling is a good time to buy and to make profit in a short period of time. But if i am already in the position. I just watch the price and try to sell and rebuy at a lower price.

If we the situation of panic selling then without thinking twice we should engage ourselves in buying as much coins as possible as that would be the best time to buy cheap coins and wait for the price to go high so that we can sell them at some good profits.

Yeah. If for some people, panic selling will be their tragic and will plan to sell their Bitcoins too. I think we should grab that opportunity to buy large amount of Bitcoins once that happen and sell that once Bitcoin has recovered its price. You have a point but you can't apply it to everthing. There are times when the majority of public opinions have predicted right and that also goes

from the  opinions of the few. There is no method to guarantee your success in this kind of industry but there are more factors that should help you

Yes this is possible of dumping of huge bitcoin. This is done by the big whales, those investors who holds huge amount of bitcoin is an exchanges. Those entity have "influence"  or cause some movement of price of bitcoin, like the sample you have mentioned above. Newbies will follow this because they would think that the price is going down, without thinking they will loss on their side if they do it.

One could dump and will affect the value of bitcoins and they are the whales in the industry but I do not think they will do it to make bitcoin's progress compromise, they do it only to cause a public panic and that they could buy a cheap bitcoin and earn in a short period of time.

In this case if someone or a member of a cryptocurrency perform or do a panoc selling of bitcoin without a valid reason this might effect the own going process or progress of bitcoin cause it will easily spread out to all members about the activity of panic selling that might trigger to every possible member to do the same without no valid reason at all and that would be a problem.

Though I agree that most profits are generated when only a few are right while the rest of the pack is wrong. But this has nothing to do with being contrarian. Best traders are earning irrespective of whether the mob is right or wrong. Otherwise, you could just make trades opposite to what the majority does, but in practice that would only mean that you will lose in some other way than the rest of trading folk. You should always remember that by going against crowd you still submit to it

but tome i think people have now becoming more and more mature and they are not going to sell their bitcoin in panic selling, they mostly hold their bitcoin in such kind of situation which really give good support to the price of bitcoin.

when prices started to dump, there will be panic selling. Well, I guess it was a natural thing for retaining bitcoin to save the money they have to sell it quickly. but, with so many people doing it, making prices sometimes fall uncontrollably. it keeps the price down like a stone. but, the best of bitcoin is, the price will definitely rise again.

I do not think it is being contrarians that make these best traders and investors makes money.  It is their logical thinking that make them reap the most reward.  Going against the flow or majority does not necesarry means profit.  There are only some cases where majority are wrong and the minority are right.  These traders still need to learn and be knowledgable about the trends and current event.  This way they can decide to either go with the crowd or go against it.

I think that even if the Chinese Government forbid BTC on China, BTC price won't fall under $750 range. It will drive some panic selling, but the demand is starting to move away from China when we think about Japan and India starting to adopt BTC on a very large scale.

A domino effect can happen but if there is not a real reason for such a thing to happen then the effects are going to be limited but in the other hand there is a reason for that then bitcoin can lose hundreds of dollars in a single day.

Nothing Ive seen indicates that forks have a chance to 'outvote' the main bitcoin blockchain.  No doubt they need to move forward but its not going to be over just like that because there is competition.    The other alternative crypto standards also have to prove themselves, probably more so then bitcoin in order to take over they will need to demonstrate alot of advantages to win business.   There is speculation and as always its overblown and people anticipate too much and the price becomes too high in that alternate standard, in turn that price will fall back as actual progress is much slower.  Bitcoin only has to plod along in order to advance and if anything slow progress wins more support in its steady course forward

you are right mate, domino's effect continuous to happen because they are still a lots of traders and investors who's willing to sell their holding when they already seeing enough profits, the best way is to look for future goal and never to follow their leads, bitcoin is for those who believes that the future is bright and investment can be more bigger.
