But now, things have gone different for bitcoins and it is heading towards a perpendicular growth with an equal chance of doubling any day soon but dump!?
Huge investors are not stupid enough to get out seeing others committing such stupidity so it's implausible and unthinkable atm. If you are taking current dips, then they are nothing because they way Bitcoin sprouted like hell from 1k to 5k in less than a year proves that it can be anywhere but can't die.

Yes you are right because the panic selling is not good for the investors because the short term investment will not make them earn huge profit and in bitcoin you need to keep patience it is the most important factor the price of the bitcoin is not predictable now it can increase any time so it is not good to sell your bitcoin in the low price until you have a very serious problem to get your money so keep it with you for more profit.

Panic selling does not automatically equal to the demand falling. Most panic selling occurs when a big player unload a hefty amount of shares for profit taking which will start a chain of other people selling. The selling will create the price of Bitcoin to push downwards, but it does not mean all people are not interested in Bitcoin anymore. Maybe the factor to look at if Bitcoin really does lose its demand is the daily average trading volume of it which is really a good indicator to look at the demand.

Self control must be observed upon deciding to sell because the profit that you will be going to have is being hampered due to panic selling decisions. Falling of the price doesn't mean you needed to panic, but all you have to do is wait for the exact time for the price to gain it's profitable value so you can sell your holdings and take the profit.

Yeah, in theory one decent trader/investor could make huge dump and cause ripple efffect. But propably nobody has that amount of BTC, so you should sleep well. Of course then the price will drop like in a  regular stock market crash  would be shocking and price from 100-5000 $.

If you'll think about it, the strategy is very simple. I'm not the original that stated this idea, I have read it somewhere and I can't remember it where. The statement says that sell when everyone is greedy and hold when everyone is buying, the logic is actually there and if you had understand that panic selling can be avoided.

selling is not a good idea, Ups and downs always happen in business, what has to be done is to keep calm at this situation and wait for 2-3 months for sure the price will go high again as it had done sometime back. just we don't have to panic on this situation instead try to start buying because price is going down. It would be a problem in centralized coins like Dash and Ethereum. But here we have much broader distribution, high liquidity, and add the fact tha if someone tries to dump a shitload of coins there will be plenty of people willing to buy the dip.

It would depend because seeing there are different types of investors or holders which do have a strong hand and a weaker hand or some just riding on the waves but wisely do wait for the right opportunity to buy back later on.I do know that theres always a possibility that bitcoins price would dump but this thing would really be a hard thing because people are different when it comes into their view into bitcoin.

Panic selling always being so bad because it reduce the profit of the user in the bitcoin forum you will see everyone asking you to save bitcoin and not to sell it yet. One of my friend bought bitcoin at the cost of 500$ and he sell it two years ago because the price of the bitcoin fell down in 2013 then increased but the process of increase was slow so he sold at the cost of 800$ and today the price of the bitcoin is more than 4500$ so he is very sad now.

Excessive supply is the source of all big sell offs.    Bitcoin does not have loose monetary inflation like all the major FIAT currencies right now.    Think of it like a ratio or a balancing scales, on one side Dollar is so incredibly weak, it has the consistancy of quicksand from all the QE liquidity pushed into the system to make bankruptcy go away.
On the other side we have Bitcoin which forgives no sins on bad accounting, no central authority can make things looser and hand out free coins out of nowhere.   So you have to look around for this new gaint source of bitcoin and its not there.   Likely there will be selling, many speculators exist but there is no single one centralised bank of coin just waiting to weaken the current price.
    With weakness on one side the dollar price for BTC is not seeming to sell off, we would need to see bitcoin not perform its job and utility for global transfer which it is helping millions perform right now

I really think that without panic selling there would be no dumps in the market, and those who are smart investors knows that we can only buy bitcoins or any other altcoin when the price drops a lot, i mean, by 20, or maybe thirty percent, no less. I really think that even if this happens, you shouldn't panic and just keep holding. Even if someone makes a big dump, I'm sure that in time, bitcoin price will recover. It's a big opportunity for investors if bitcoin price will fall. So, it's would be shopping time for us.
