GRS is making big moves today. Heading towards to top 50. No marketing just lots of development. Gulden shouldn't be delaying the release deliberately as investors are looking for good coins.

I never believed the developers when they said they've been working etc.etc.  Bloody lies. They don't have the guts to release because they want to wait and see. Sitting on their development funds doing nothing, asking for donations to do their marketing.

Bitcoin is not the best "investment" this moment... people are blinded by greed (Warren Buffet has a nice quote regarding that). They don't see the risks involved with the upcoming fork. It also became clear to me last week that someone bought a few BTC futures for 1000USD (betting on one main chain) that people don't understand how that fork will work. In that view NLG has been a safe store of value (being stable between 0.09 and 0.11USD for months).

One of my friends is upset with me because I told them buy Gulden 2 weeks ago and not to touch bitcoin. I won't be giving advice to anyone to buy Gulden again.  Some investors must be wanting to kill themselves over the Gulden price instead of keeping their bitcoin.

Hmm, interesting development with a new Slack channel requiring authenticated logins. I've stopped using all these forms of communication, not really because I am in danger of phishing attacks since I never click on links, but just the terrible amount of spam I have been getting in my email inbox since signing up for Slack across crypto. Seems I won't be able to use any Slack anyway, if they need facebook/linkedin cause I'm definitely NOT giving away my personal accounts!

Let's hope there will be easier ways to enter future channels, and all the projects with Slack follow suit. Otherwise I am happy to stick to bct

So in a nutshell it will be even more in the hands of random people updating the outside world now, not going to sign up for the new slack either

Gulden is definitely solid. I've bought using their payment methods and that was really a good experience. Out of all the projects out there, Gulden is by far one of the most efficient market makers, they offer a vast array of alternatives when it come to buying tokens and the location they are headquarted is well regulated (The Netherlands). It's kinda confusing to see them so low in terms of market capitalization, as it's a great project, but this probably has to do with the fact that they are not expanding enough to other countries, they are serving the European Union mostly but I haven't seen them trying to get into foreign markets (perhaps they are legally not able to). Either way the platform is awesome and I hope we'll see similar "versions" or projects with similar business plans popping out around other countries as well, maybe it's easier to start such a thing if you already live in such countries and know what do expect (regulatory-wise).

You see, in the previous slack there were too many unknown people that he had no control over. Now he gets to decide who are the "uber-" and who are the "unter-" people.

No theory here, just simple facts:

- Gulden dev's claimed they were ordered by Slack to open a new one because they had to know who joined
- Slack never ordered anyone to do this!
- Over 1000 other coins have been scammed in their slack, none of them came forward with a statement they have had similar orders.
- Gulden dev's have a history of censorship since 2014 (Forums, ANN's and otherwise)
- Gulden dev's have made it abundantly clear they refuse any criticism in any of their controlled media
- Gulden dev's have banned more people from the media they control than currently are in the new slack
- Gulden dev's don't care about the price of NLG because they robbed the obedient fanboys of over 600BTC ($ 3,500,000.00)
- Gulden dev has just one goal, keep the community dumb and obedient, so they can squeeze more BTC (not NLG) out of them

The timing for the PoW2 and SegSig update could not be worse if they plan to release this month. Every decision the devs have made always ends up with bad timing. I do acknowledge it's bad luck involved but if they focussed on PoW2 and did the update it would of been very good for the price and Gulden would of gotten more recognition.

SegSig delayed this project by 3 months and while it's a good update who is going to care when bitcoin prices are going to the moon? No one will notice this update.

With Slack there was users signing up to spam advertise ICO scams. I won't be joining the new slack but I don't blame the devs for having to go this route.

Bittersweet announcement. The best possible news at the worst possible time.  
Some are saying this bitcoin rally will only end in 2019 so the devs must release and not wait for the bitcoin hype to calm down.
