Does anyone know when Nocks will add USD and which banks or providers users will have to go through to get deposits onto Nocks. I am currently helping some of my family and friends purchasing Gulden because I have a bittrex account. Bittrex has not reopened registrations as of yet. I don't mind helping but on some purchases I am losing a bit of money in fees and price increases. Ideally I want them to be able to do this on their own but impossible if you don't know how things work.
Gulden is truly being held back by the lack of buying options and exchanges for international users.

Make sure you back up your wallet regularly! Unlike a bank account, nobody can help you if you lose access to your BTC.

When you read the history of Gulden you will know the team refuses to buy their way onto exchanges. They have the funds to bribe exchanges to add Gulden (like 99% of the other cryptos do) but won't do it and they know the Gulden price could of been a lot higher then it is today. The good side of all this, is it makes Gulden the best investment IMHO, you also want to be in Gulden before it becomes easily accessible to the rest of the world.

They don t release before March investors will wait for the Constantinople ETH fork later this year. The Casper update makes ETH a PoW / PoS hybrid like peercoin. PoW2 might be a better concept but people won't care if they can earn interest with ETH. The dev team need to get on with it , it's been too long waiting for the update.

By the looks of it, Pow2 will be released next week or early February.
SegSig, however, might get delayed
But honestly, I don't care, the big leap is Pow2, Pow2 is the thing that will skyrocket Gulden

Thumbs up for this comment. I don't know what was going on in their heads when they added SegSig. This delay has cost Gulden lots of investment during the crypto bull market.

Thumbs up for this comment. I don't know what was going on in their heads when they added SegSig. This delay has cost Gulden lots of investment during the crypto bull market. Just be patient, Gulden is about creating a coin which can actually be used. If you want a quick profit, then pick other coins. For Gulden you'll need to sit out the ride with a steady increase over time.

Over a year ago I funded the first shares Gulden offered for realizing part of the big update that is currently about to come. At that time Rijk told me it could take some more time before the update would come through. It sure has taken more time, and it sure has taken a lot more funding. That is OK, as high ambitions needed more money, time and team. Gulden acquired the money, team and time. If Gulden should suddenly come up with an update that does not include segsig, that would be extremely disappointing. I hold Gulden high as they have been trustworthy and reliable. If any parts of the long awaited update are to be skipped, they should have informed us about that by now. There have been multiple opportunities to do so if needed, but testing feedback has been positive and has not indicated any problems whatsoever. Therefor I count on Gulden to come up with the a complete version 2.0 update including segsig, and this would put Gulden at top of cryptocoins.

Was the segsig thing also what delayed POW2 last November? I recall the dev status post saying heaps of changes would be bundled together.
Crypto protocols are a race to market. IMO.

The main dev admitted SegSig is the reason for the delay in August but thought for long term it would be the right move for Gulden, if they remove SegSig from the release it would be a major disaster because we could of had reduced PoW rewards and earning interest last year September.

I think the Gulden coin is a very good coin to hodl. They have a solid team and vision also you can use it in different kind of stores in Holland.

Either you are a genius coder and I look forward to see your stable code release within the next 2-3 weeks or this is your way to say that you need to start reading about the technical details of p2p blockchain technology.

It is a full-time project, the dev who is working on the main update is a hired senior-dev, since 2015, and works 8 hours a day, fully committed to Gulden development. They also have mobile devs, that's why their iOS wallet is one of the best (if not THE best) around, and is very high-ranked in apple app store.

About the whole SegSig or not, from what I see in the dev.gulden.com, both will get released in February Since they really want those two releases together, I don't think they will split, there's no much use in splitting the releases if they are in a very advanced stage already. And since the testings are going very well, they will be able to release both together, it will be a BOOM in the crypto market for sure

According to a poster in the telegram group it will be released with PoW2 and SegSig. The bad news... Update is expected in March only.

That is actually very Good news and very Good news. It means in only 4 weeks time Gulden will be back in the lead with Pow2 and SegSig. Better rack & stack some NLG now while you can still get 'm at bargain prices...

It's guesswork by some random telegram poster and should be ignored - just like all the other guesswork that goes on on here.

I think Gulden can be easily get top 3 in crypto once whitepaper proven successful.
Don't worry, most of the people complaining here are like Geert Wilders, tell us problems but have no solutions. The Dutch is a nation with many different opinions and should largely be ignored as it shows in our politics. 28 parties and no outright winners, ignore the cucks on this forum who do nothing but complain.
