Is Gulden a good investment?

I would say in a few months, really. Gulden has a lot of media attention and coverage, the reason that is low on volume is that most investors invest small amount of Euros via Nocks, mostly because Gulden is so stable, that they doesn't feel like it would rise to the moon anytime soon.

If someone with a good amount of BTC wants to invest in Gulden, it's possible to pump the coin really easy, and I'm sure people would follow, since it's a solid coin with many, many people supporting it.

Just my 2 cents, haha. I wish I was that guy with BTC enough to direct Gulden into a vertical uptrend

Gulden is getting better with every update. The team just takes time needed as they see best fit for Gulden.
It is a small team that collected a lot of funding in BTC, so they do not need large investors at all.
They just need patient supporters who rack and stack NLG.
Good Gulden times will come one day, only wait like you already do with Bitcoin and other altcoins and you will be rewarded

Is Nocks planning to raise the monthly deposit limit for players with proper funds to come in?

Gulden won't break into the top 100 with the current limits in place, it's preventing whales from moving Gulden into a new price bracket.

It will take a lot of time until this coin is among the first 100 coins. There are only suggestions on the forum.
But no one buys it. There is not enough investment so it wont gain

This coin is different from the others, in an awesome way

it has their own exchange (called Nocks) where people can buy using Euro directly without having to have BTC, so many people that doesn't even know that bitcointalk exists buy from there, which lowers the volume in bittrex.

Also, the Dev team doesn't want to advertise just for the sake of inflating the coin price, they deliver real value, that's why the coin already increased so much since 2014, when it was launched. Not many coins survives since 2014, and Gulden not only "survived", but the price increased, it is stable, and it's widely used in the Netherlands already, yesterday I bought my dinner using Gulden How many coins, despite BTC itself, can I buy things directly?

Honestly, check the roadmap https://dev.gulden.com/ they aren't playing around. If you are smart, you'd be looking EXACTLY for coins like Gulden: that didn't "exploded" to the moon yet. This is the perfect coin to buy, do some research and it's easy to see that.

My guess the testing is on a test net. Those mined coins are not spendable on the main chain.

The 20% reduced PoW reward and witnessing will see Gulden reach $1 in 2018 despite the low limits on Nocks for whales. A lot of people will want to have 10000 coins for earning interest.
