Will cryptopia handle the swapping/burning process?

This process will start manually. The remaining on cryptopia coins after ~10-Jan will be swapped/burned automatically (planned).

Any news if cryptopia will automatically swap the old coins for new ones? Their current announcement makes it look as if they dont.

With the suspended trading and manual swap, we will pass through this process more quickly and we will have less people left in the old chain and complaining that they did not have a time to make a choice.

Only for coins mined before the block #1990382 (84 coins in the old chain, 9-Jan-2017).

1. Download the blockchain snapshot and rescan your wallet in order to be sure that your coins are mined before block #1990382. If your wallet does not have any connections with the network you should open port #24242 and notify me of your IP address.

2. Send me a copy of your wallet.dat file by email for verification.

3. Prepare your miners and be ready to confirm transactions to the transit 4VsEs7wqRpoiTpmqViWRtse1P3CNgvBw4g and then to the burn 4K7Q8XHw6vb8v25jBMQJvBYDJ71jJybzhG address.

4. When the transactions are confirmed, I will send to your new 42 wallet: burned amount/2 - tx fee coins.

You can send your coins direct to the burn address and will receive back a private key from the address with the new coins. You will be able to import this key to the wallet some later when the Mac wallet will be available.

We don't need a pool because the PoS is the main method of transaction confirmation. Exchange will be unavailable during the swap process in order to avoid confusion and possible loss.
