I have been hanging out in the the new irc channel ##42coin but me and only one other person come in there. Guess no one really uses irc for crypto lately anymore like 2 -3 years ago only the die hards

That is a good point, i might get myself and try to do it. Never made a scrypt pool tho, and i do not have experience with databases so a pool where you authenticate with address would be ideal.

Cryptopia currently charges 0.01 for 42 withdrawal, i made a support ticket and asked them to lower the fee because i think the current fee is ridicolous as hell.

is there a mining pool set up yet for the new 42coin?
One could be made but, im not even bothering to try because PoW block reward is only 0 + tx fees. Pool is not a bad idea, especially in situations when there are no blocks in the network for hours, like today night...

Just a psychological aspect. There are some miners with low hashrate that stop to mine when the difficulty is too high for them and they do not have any blocks. Pool will give them an opportunity to see other miners and result of their united work and do not give up.

Do you mean they charge 0.01% of the coin or 0.01 42?

Do you mean they charge 0.01% of the coin or 0.01 42? They charge 0.01 42 for withdrawal, not percent. I already did send a ticket but they closed it and did not even answer. Seems like they don't really want people to withdraw from there. If we go with current rate of 42btc/ 1/42coin it would be 0.42 btc withdrawal fee (of course there is no much volume but still) since sending from wallet the fee is only around 0.00000003 42.

Also everyone please do join us at: https://kiwiirc.com/client/chat.freenode.net/?nick=username&theme=cli##42coinIf we want to success, we need to build a community. It's easy to go there, and if you want to signup on the freenode services, you'll only need to enter "/msg nickserv register nicknamehere emailhere" we do not have much people there yet but i do think that if we want to success we need to build an community.

Hello to all, I am fairly new to this coin and looking forward to being a part of the conversations here. I am mining on Mining Dutch and noticed they have a notice up that they are having backend issues and have halted payouts. Is there anyway of knowing if this is a short term problem or a long term one? Also, is there a plan for a mobile wallet for this coin? Thank you all and forgive me if this in the wrong format or not done correctly. I accept any corrections form seasoned veterans here. Have a great day, Brazilman37

Have a great day, Brazilman37 You are mining on the old chain, i that you cannot even swap them anymore. Only way would be to buy coins from new chain on cryptopia.
