Just be patient with this one.  Its a solid coin that has big swings but I think it will eventually swing up and stay up big.  It's looking good right now but it will probably fall down to just under $6 like it always does.
Stratis goes up on big volume then the trading bots of the whales walk it back down on small volume

didnt get you, how does that happen?
like whales pushing price down through some bot?

This is great news for the Stratis project.  Nicolas Dorier is a machine.  It won't be long before Stratis breaks out back into the double digit figures.  Stratis is the future!!!

Let me get this straight... the big feature is a unified Bitcoin / Stratis wallet with tumbling. Ok great.

And now it supports segwit so Bitcoin transactions are going to be cheaper (for a while). Ok great.

But how does this help drive use of STRAT on the Stratis network? I'm guessing txn's on Stratis are already cheap because of low usage.

But yet trademark is jumping out of his seat for this, screaming it's the future.

Add trademark to the list of folks on here who cannot comprehend what is going on by reading. JFC. Are these guys actual STRAT investors? They probably haven't got a clue about what it purports to do.

Case in point.

My knowledge about chart reading is very limited but having observed lot of markets for last few days it is easy to figure out that Stratis market is suppressed and accumulators or whales don't want price to rise for the moment. Current state of developments and available done work is enough to take the price at more higher and to sustain them later. Market can't be controlled for long time and a quick increase is inevitable very soon.

Any production release of any item on the roadmap beside the QT-wallet would be just awesome.
How far (in time) is this down the road?

Exact
This is a very young market, little liquid, small and unregulated; That's why those with "little money" can move the market as best they believe, shifting this or that currency.

I heard there will be side chains before q3 ends, and that is 30th sept Smiley

Breeze with tumblebit in alpha will come in the next few weeks I expect.

The coming months will be good for Stratis.

A hard fork (to turn back transactions(!)) should only be used on issues of global importance and with broad consensus.

Would Bitcoin do a hard fork because some dudes lost their BTC due to sending them to a wrong address because they didn't use any security measurements? Stratis has literally nothing to do with this. Might as well go whine at the exchange because of their shitty GUI.
If they started turning back transactions because coins were sent to a wrong address, who knows if they wouldn't start messing with chain integrity for even lesser issues.

These coins are burned and have vanished forever. However, their value has not. Since the supply has been deflated, their value has been transferred to all existing non-lost coins. Maybe you should ask their owners if they would give some of this value back to you.

That guy is really funny. And he compares 100m hack and some individuals' mistake + I don't think ETH made a right decision at that time...
The whole point of crypto is that you can't rewrite the past!!

The whole point of crypto is to move value globally. Not much value being moved with STRAT currently.

That's why XRP is killing it now. They used the ultimate growth hack of going through the banks and it worked.

Let's see if Stratis has a real use case that Enterprise will buy. I don't think tumbling Bitcoins is the answer.

Stratis team already stated several times that the Breeze Wallet is only a side project(product). Wink So I think they are surely building something big for entreprises. Take for example the blockchain for the seafood industry. They are now developing it and we shall see some results soon. And there is so much more products and use-cases to come.

Totally agree, this is a real example of applying blockchain to reallife needs, if this goes succesfully which I dont doubt due to the professional nature of this team, then I can see other enterprises jumping onboard.

As far I know there's no project nowadays using blockchain smart contracts that we can say they deliver something that work well and stable in order to use it for mass adoption. This including the most "advanced" of all ETH. Every projects are still in an early stage, "blockchain" is still in an early stage so they need to be tested and improved. Its a good news to have partnerships, little or big this doesn't matter, the point is to testing and make all growing well.
Bringing anonymity is very important and every smart contract based chain have understand this point (ETH will have ZEC/XZC; ETC will have ZEN....) and tumbling is a really good point for Stratis.

Some people are upset because the price didn't skyrocketting to jupiter yet! But is it really important? At this point you can only invest in some project that you can believe if not don't invest, and i'm not only talking for Stratis this is true for all the rest of the crypto space.

XRP is a private blockchain totally premined and centralized, I eventually understand why banks put money on it but I never understand why people do it too. Also but this is my point of view, payments protocols are more easy to code than smart contracts blockchains  so in general they are more advanced and closed to deliver something that work and so more valuated too.

"Stratis makes it easier than ever before for organizations to deploy private blockchains. They’re in talks with many huge companies like Microsoft, Jaguar, Reuters, Cashaa, AIA Group, RBC Capital Markets, Deutsche Bank, etc."

Were those companies, aside from Microsoft, ever publicly announced by Stratis?
