Can someone possibly assist me? I have 3 cards that refuse to start hashing. I tried connecting 1 card at a time operating status goes from running to stop before it starts mining. Only 1 card out of 4 works, if i connect it alone it stays running and starts to mine. If i connect it with any or all of the other three cards, operating status goes from running to stop before any minimg takes place. Please help at a total loss. It is not the pi that is faulty

1300W Psu from inno, all connected properly. previously worked just fine but suddenly only 1 card hashes. If i connect any of the other 3 cards alone they dont hash just blink all the time and switch to operating status stop.

If i connect the 1 working card with a card that doesnt work both wont mine.

When the LEDs are blinking all the time, in my experience that means there's a fault with the card. I've seen it happen in two circumstances so far. 1.) Overheated card due to fan failure - shutdown, cool off, replace fan and restart - worked again. 2.) Reflashing the MCU firmware from B1/2 to B3 - I had a few cards where the LED would flash incessantly on the last stage - had to restart the firmware flash procedure from start - cured the problem.

If you've got one of the Batch 3 miners with the glued on individual heatsinks (have a look inside) check that they're all stuck where they should be (onto the ASIC chips). I had a couple of these B3 miners land with heatsinks rattling around inside the miner case. Just unplug and unscrew the 4 screws holding the fan, unscrew the 4 screws holding the cards in place and gently slide the hashcards out.

Try starting the miner with all 4 cards, then power off and pull the SD card and open both StartCgminer.log and cgminer.log in /var/www.
You're looking for 4 sets of the hashcard initialisation log below as well as this summary line:

[2017-03-05 20:20:06] A2 boards=4, active cores=7998, speed=763.97M
Ignore the reference to A2, Inno didn't update this chunk of code for the A4.

This is the log for 1 card so you should see 4 sets of this. If you don't see 99 or 100 cores per chip you've got problems.

Anyone bought A4 from Inno recently. They still have that 270$ shipping rate for 1 miner?

I bought 5 in Jan and got a much better rate (<$100 ea.).
Suggest you see if you can create a small group buy in your region, or contact Dominique at Inno: luojm@innosilicon.com.cn and ask her what she can do. I think 3 is the threshold where the rate drops significantly.

they have few in stock for about what they sell for on INNOSILICON site as 136 MH tubes .may be  200 more in the end you still pay the shipping i guess ... or do better direct buying .

shipping was 40 bucks everything taken care of they use ups which i was happy about i don't like FedEx

Hi, the A4 is in stock now while L3+ can only be shipped after 3 month.
The early buyer already has made profit with our A4. Don't miss this golden opportunity to mine according to the current low hash power.
We are glad to help at any time.  Wink

Here is my update post 2.0.3 installation update.

As of right now it looks like all of my problems have been resolved, no more reboots on Get Failures!

Before 2.0.3 I would have never been able to show you a screen capture like this that illustrates more than 10 days run time with anything other than 0 Get Failures because prior to 2.0.3, 1 get failure would make the miner reboot itself.

2.0.3 Can be found here https://www.dropbox.com/s/sis8eoeo6wxoqdv/G5-20-V2.0.3.zip?dl=0,
Note for those that are not aware, if you're running 2.0.2 you're already capable of running 2.0.3. If you're running a version that begins with 1.0.x or 0.0.x your miner must have a hardware reflash before 2.0.x will be supported.

Hi, Eyedol

Glad to hear that your problem of the "reboot dance“ has been resolved with v2.0.3beta!  Cheesy
Here we want to send our gratitude to Jarrid and Ricardo, who spent no efforts in developping the software.

We hope that most A4 users can gain a lot from the sharply increase of LTC price!
Also we will keep working on providing better service to all of you.

Thanks,
Innosilicon A4 Support Team

I dont know what the specifications are, but why do you have a wide diurnal fluctuation?
My A4's range between 50-55 all day. You do have them in a temperature controlled environment?
I suspect your AC is not rated for the BTU's the A4's generate.
Im using a 2-ton AC, and that seems to work well. I also use ducted air, really cheap at big-box hardware stores.

I got your points. What I mean is my a4 temp are depend on outside temp. My country, morning & mid-day temp is about 35-40*C, and cooler in evening & night (25-30*C). I want to know, what is the maximum temperature range A4 Miner can handle? Thanks for help. Smiley
