Might wanna try undervolting below 815. Especially if you aren't running at 1248MHz, but at 1200MHz.
It's less stable at 810 or 820. 815 is my sweet spot. Getting excellent returns and miner not rebooting frequently.

No idea why Inno didn't announce it yet. Use at your own risk Smiley But Inno representative told me 2.1 is newest version, when i asked him about 2.0.3 and 2.1.

Interesting find, just now seeing this.

Also interesting to see they updated the software for the Batch 1/2 A4's as well.

You must flash them with jig. One was sent to Europe some time ago. I suggest contacting Inno for support

Hey guys,
I'm thinking about this miner. Interested in the time how long they usually last? Hows the warranty if something is wrong after a year, i mean is itexpensive to repair them? You have lots of problems with these miners or not really? Anything i should know before buying them? Thanks

Personal experience...
I got mine in Nov, and other than the firmware upgrade issues I have not had any significant problems which required support.
The latest firmware seems to be working great, no reboots recently, and getting excellent returns.
If there is anyone out there wanting to sell, im looking for more of these little rigs.

As for "what to know", keep in mind that they are pretty loud, and need good airflow. They will heat-up a space pretty quickly if kept in a small room or closet.
The fans are 200CFM fans, I did replace one which wasn't working well, but it was a cheap-easy fix on my part.
Somewhere along the road, I ended up with an extra controller. Ive successfully run 3 cubes on a single controller, but all mine are running with 2 cubes currently.

Inno still selling these for $1600 for 2 cubes+controller, and eastshore.xyz is selling single cubes for $999. If you order, i would assume they are coming from stock, and there shouldn't be any significant wait times for delivery.

I spoke with Inno today and they are currently out of stock.  Also note that they only accept wire transfer for payment.

INNOSILICON is doing Per orders for a batch due out around AUG /SEP for 1400 US.... I think I'll buy my second tube about then ...from EastShore Mining Devices at that price, that should be about what my 136 MH tube cost me, not bad and btw, i discovered a kind of fix for My POOL SIDE hash rate Issue or it works for me .

I'm running my 136 MH half tube thu a proxy and so far any pool, i try it on works, the Speeds pick right up and i had to also use Version 2.03 of the software and still wish INNOSILICON would let us use a newer type RPI or any PI type so, SO far so good .... using this proxy :

https://github.com/Stratehm/stratum-proxy/releases

I have been using that  proxy  for about a year or more or sense my Antminer S5 days for other reasons, and gave it a try... SO, i guess it might be me and my ISP and the proxy might by pass something there doing.....

Hello everyone!

I am having some A4 issues. I purchased an A4 From (Asicminermarket.com) its a batch 4 i guess 2017. when I plugged it all up and turned it on the controller fried and so did the grey cables that go from the controller to the Miner. ( I have a video if you guys want to see lol )
Well I got in contact with seller and they said yea dude send it back we will either fix or send out a new one. and i was like ok bro ill check out the cost of shipping asap. Well the Shipping was like $250 ish ( because china )  and I found a controller straight from Innosilicon for like $90. so i told the seller that i was going to try the controller first instead of sending back. ( Probably where i Fd up ) any ways fast forward to when i get the new controller it works i update it to the latest firmware and i get a socket error. No matter how long its running and no matter the different settings i try i cant get rid of the Socket error.

I soon realize that my machine does not have red lights turning on in the back the fan is running but it does not have any red lights on at all ....
not even when i power one board at a time or without the controller connected nothing.....

What are my options at this point?

Is there some kind of troubleshooting i can do myself?

Is the lack of red lights mean basically the death of my miner?

Any advice would be great... this was my first miner ever and its been nothing but difficult.

Socket error usually shows up when something wrong with IP/network config. Or miner can't connect to controller.

I understand that, But i know for a fact my ip configs were not bad and that the controller is working.

Will inno repair or replace under warranty? If the cables burned it was probably a bad short and may have taken out components on the haahing boards. Got pics?

I might be able to fix it but if it has warranty try that first...

New issue not sure what it is but the controller keep locking me out after so many hours of hashing the miner keeps hashing on nice hash or were ever i have it mining,  just can't access it though SSH or the IP UI from that controller online on any Browser but AWESOME MINER is able to keep monitoring the A4 and it does SHOW up on nice hash as hashing  until i do a reboot then i get Access back ..... sadly this IS why i wanted more access to the software so i can run it on a more updated  controller ( and not the junk controller it came with ). I was willing to pay for any cables needed to replace to a better RPI or PI type, i have laying around that will work much better, I could and can use that can run Ubuntu 16 with out issue sigh ... I know, I'll be ignored for the most part an they really don't care ...but I feel i need to express it again .

AND IT IS SO DAM ANNOYING I GET TO RUN LIKE IT SHOULD NOW THIS sigh. not upset more annoying then anything,I'd rather have my own custom controller, i can deal with it better.

NO i don't want to pay 150 $ bucks for a new controller i don't need when all it would take is new cables and Make that version of CGMINER OPEN SOURCE .. I don't even care about your openwrt type UI, I"ll either find one or come up with one on my own or use the black screen and do a start up file .

are temperatures around 58C ok and safe for long runs?

standard conf: http://imgur.com/a/sfnU2

thanks
That's pretty high based on my experience.
My A4's are running in the mid 40's

btw my one A4 runs  around 50 to 53 per blade in the summer so far and then when it gets cold here around like yours .. so mine is running like it should all but the lame software that they for some reason think will get stolen if they open source it, which it was open source to start with ... I'm sure so much shit would be fixed if they would let it, not by me, but others would love to ....
