Looks like we might start making waves soon Price is definitely looking healthier, Maybe should have bough a lot when it was down so low. Saying that even the price we are at right now is probably very low compared to what were going to be at in a few months time.

The most important thing would be to ensure funds are not spent foolishly or things made up in order to justify spending and that good value for money spent is gotten. There are examples of real world ICO where investor funds are spent on make believe services set up by company insiders themselves and pay themselves extortionate fees for providing services and products to their own company almost treating investor funds like slush fund but I do not think the team would attempt to missappropriate funds etc of course but good value and accountability is important to ensure trust and transparency especially with such large amounts of money.
I'm sure they are selling some because of the price of BTC. But I also believe that when this so called ledger or whatever comes out that documents their spending, it will list some bogus shell company that they own as a source of payment. That's just the feeling I get from those involved.

Saying that even the price we are at right now is probably very low compared to what were going to be at in a few months time. for those that wanna dump still, you might just be burned when it hit again. so if you have spare btcs as of now, you might wanna buy more at least that will cover your loss when waves continuously goes up. but wait for some FUD, they will be here any moment and will drag the price once again.

Think im just going to have to wait till we get back down to about 20k or lower hopefully. Someone should be in anytime now anyway to start the ball rolling. Knowing my luck i will hold of for a bit of fud and some dumping and then price will rise. Either way its win win i suppose. I just want more =p

copied from the old thread 29636.25296 / 85000000 = 0.00034866 correct? But "NXT asset swap" plus "10%/20% bonus". --> What was the min/average/max ICO price? Please mention that in OP. Thanks.

copied from the old thread Windows - keep wallet separate - how to?Nice one. To keep it separate from my other surfing, I choose PortableApps --> Chrome --> App. PortableApps is also useful because it tracks software updates. [WAVES] 1W3P7KxxrtmDk7YWetm8LnKCsfmRYh3EQ7Cco - thx Functions like a local hard drive wallet. Nice! Yes, I like portableApps, makes a lot of sense. I see this 2nd browser solution as a (mild) security measure, not to have wallets inside the browser that is under daily threat from everything that's out there. I could also move that whole portableApps folder to a USB stick, and plug it in only when I want to use WAVES. I've already installed chrome with the wavesapp though but does this mean that you don't have to connect to the mainnet to access your WAVES?
You do. The WAVES app/wallet is not changed or affected at all. It is exactly the same as if you installed it into your main browser.

Price crash incoming. Good luck with your panic sells. did it work? i don't see it coming down really. if i see it down to 20k i might just buy more. i feel like it won't be under 50k next week so we can only buy 2 waves for a dollar. thats somehow a good price to trade.

You guys should stop arguing about the price. Anyone who invested in an ICO Scamcoin that hasn't split this far in is just asking for their money burned. Lifespan for these thereum tokens are a week or two, max. It's your own damn faults for getting too greedy and trying to catch it at the top as it came tumbling down.
Great advice about scam-coins from a DLISK investor. I haven't put a dime into Dlisk and I'm not planning on it. I signed up for the personal text campaign because that space was open for advertisement. I'll be selling however much I get with that the second I can. Same with other ICO campaigns I've joined (twitter, facebook, etc.). That is even worse. You are happily promoting something to others despite believing it to be a scam. So on the one hand you are promoting scam coins and on the other you are coming on here telling people not to buy them. Awesome. Altcoin markets are essentially unregulated penny stocks. I don't think there are any morals or legitimate use cases for any of these. What I do think is this environment is a gamble with winners and losers. I had absolutely no confidence that WAVE would do anything useful. What I did have confidence in was that other people would, enough to net a profit. I invested in the WAVE ICO and when I sold my WAVE I made about 2.5x profit, even though I had absolutely 0 faith in the coin. Now, with DLisk, I'm betting that putting it in my personal text is the best investment of that space. I still think it's like all the other recent ICOs: a useless scamcoin. I didn't tell anyone not to buy these coins, only that they are stupid if they think these internet moneies have any use. I stand by that statement, regardless of the coin, and regardless of my advertisements. If you want to buy a coin for speculatory reasons, that's fine. But if you want to invest in a project because you want to make a difference, invest directly into Bitcoin or Bitcoin start ups.
