Ok, so I'm highly intrigued by the new protocol (sorry Im a little late to the game here, just found you guys) Am I correct to assume that mining is done strictly within wallet so far? Or has there been a standalone miner created? (BFG, CG, SG ....)

P.S.
Love the wallet design Smiley It seems like a fair bit of work and effort went into it and thats always a good sign IMHO

Seems like difficulty went up 10 fold, can someone come up with a stratum pool?

I entered private key from VRC wallet (where I sent the VRC for ICO) in new Verium wallet and after 10 minutes of waiting now I see my VRMs, it works!

There is no exchange for VRM yet so it's anyone's guess, but based on coin supply and the demand for coin you can get some estimate.

So if I use the button `Send Verium to VeriCoin (VeriSwap)`, I`ll receive 1 VRC for 1 VRM?

I depends on what day of the ICO you bought, it ranges from 6-10 Vericon per Verium. Read the OP.

Is there an external miner that supports this algo?

Help needed.

So I wanna try out mining this coin Using Virtual servers (Google cloud right now).

Could anyone help me with a guide on how to set it up? Including a way to extract the coins from the Virtual machine.

I'm guessing it would be easiest to use Ubuntu, but I'm not really sure. I need the dumbed down version..

Thanks,
Hhampuz

Google cloud doesn't support for mining. So don't try with Google cloud, your account will be locked.
You can try with Amazon AWS, however You will pay them much more than what you can mine.

nothing gonna stop us now

Allright. Good to know.

What about the other services out there then that is renting out virtual servers?

Or do you still believe it is not worth it to mine there?
