all this drama about pools and compiling..  i installed on some windows machines, clicked the thing to mine, and i get a block every couple days.  maybe you people are too smart to mine verium, try drinking some cheap domestic beers while mowing your lawn..  it works.

Someone can teach me how to mine from 3 different computers in the same wallet , pls note the computers have linux . Is there any option?  Without using a pool I mean . Can I connect miners directly to my wallet?

I have a couple machines mining pointing at the same wallet on a linux box.

First your veriumd server needs a config file with something like this in it:
Code:
addnode=vrmsupernode3.vericoin.info
daemon=1
server=1
gen=0
rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=password
rpcport=36987
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcallowip=192.168.0.*
The important part is to allow rpc connections from other machines on your local network (the rpcallow=192.168.0.* line).

For my miners, I am using a cpuminer fork and the config(s) looks something like this:
Code:
{
"url" : "http://192.168.0.105:36987/",
"user" : "user",
"pass" : "password",

"algo" : "scrypt",
"threads" : "5",

"quiet" : true

}

Hopefully this will give you what you need to get started.  It works great and I have been doing it since the launch.  Mined about 325 VRM so far.

Yeah I have anywhere from 30-63 connections, when I power down the wallet or restart it it takes about 30 mins to get all connections. Working great, haven't had any issues with the wallet...running strong for 4 weeks straight Cool Getting blocks every 3-4 days at 900 h/m Grin

So do we have any successful pools running yet? Hashing power on the network has almost hit 1000 kh/s!

vrm.poolinat0r.com should be working now.
I have set different settings on unomp now and was able to find some blocks on the testnet. I am moveing the pool to the real chain now and setup my miners there.
As soon as i hit the first block on real blockchain i will open the MPOS website again and we can start mining :-)

Hi! what miner software must be used? Does "getting started page" at your pool show correct instructions?
Also ..as I see at the pool stats page.. there are people mining estimated 2000+ VRM per day?
thank you
peace

hi there,

no getting started isnt right yet. i am useing precompiled cpuminer-opt as window exe and cpuliner-opt on linux.
statistics are not correct yet, we musst find sone blocks so mpos can cslculate estimated shares. i will have a look on the statsrics this evening.

we just hit snother block Smiley)

gpu load is still going high, i will adjust digficulty again in 10-15min, miner should automatically reconnect.
