It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

@testbug You need to change the Welcome message on the pool

Quote
**Update***
Finished:
- implementation of pool backups
- email notifications
- 0% fee for all testers has been applied :-)

Please note: you can't gpu mine here Wink

Today I see the 1.337% fee is being imposed, which you stated would be free for 1 month for testers.

I don't mind the fee, but you should notify people before simply imposing or increasing the fee which you had previously said would be x for specified time.

valid point, not that nice.

All early testers have been manually aplied 0 fees. Early testers are all the people, who helped testing the pool in the early mines. To compensate the contributed hashing power there testers have fixed 0% fees. All people registered after that had one week 0 fees on the pool which has been changed yesterday.  The eary testers wil have 3 more weeks without fees.
If early tester, registered before sept. 20th see the 1.337% mining fee please contact me. I just checked the adminpanel and the 0% fee should be applied right.
i Hope this is maeking it more clear Smiley

**edit changed withdraw fees** --> i was checking the last withdraws, and i saw most bigger miners use automatic payouts around 5060VRM.
Automatic payout min:  changed to 50 VRM     ----->    0.61 vrm fee
Automatic payout max: changed to 58 VRM     ----->    0.61 vrm fee
Manually Payout is for smaller miners: min 10 VRM -->    0.21 vrm fee

The changed on the fee have been made, because i noticed that some miner actually "only" payed 0.21 VRM while the pool has had to pay 0.6VRM fee and more. if you have any improvements/thoughts on the fee changes for withdraws, please PM me here or use the email provided on the pools settings.

I didn't want to "harm" anybody, i just thought that all early pool testers (pool didn't hit any block for the first 4-5 days testing) would know how 0% fees was ment to be Smiley

Hey Guys,

I'm adding the cpuminer optimizations to the in wallet miner so all miners are about the same performance.  I'm about 80% done or so, this update is a bit tricky as it is very hardware specific and I'm making it work on all three OSes with varying hardware, without compiling separate wallets for different hardware like the opt miner is, etc.  After this release there will be more incentive to solomine again, due to same speed and no fees for tx and pool, which can add up.  The fee structure is 0.2 VRM per kilobyte of the transaction.

We should know this week whether we are doing marketing with the company.  Cool thing is they will accept VeriCoin as payment and will hold a fraction in the contract for incentive to succeed.  We are discussing with them marketing VeriCoin and Verium in a way no other crypto has been marketed effectively thus far.  We will be primarily targeting the general population and this is not just a BS plan, this is a real, dynamic strategy for penetrating the general market.

Also I'm not going to spend my time allaying the fears of pessimists regarding price, the market will move as it chooses and we will be here building a better and better protocol, UI, UX, ecosystem and now pairing as we have for 2+ years.  If you think the fundamentals are good and share our passion for crypto and what it can and should do, join us, build a third party application for our ecosystem or help us get the word out.  The price will be proportional to our success in penetrating a larger and larger market and this is the only true way to build a currency.  This is ultimately about freedom from the collusive corruption of centrally controlled money, that is why we are here, if you believe in that freedom you are in good company here.

Payouts have been fixed.
I will change the payouts limits and withdraw fee again. I might be lowering the autoatic payout treshold with a cheaper fee, and higher the manual payout fee.
I think with the above changes the payouts are more "fair" for everyone, because you have to collect 10 VRM with automatic payout with 0.21VRM fee. Not sure about manual payout limit, but it will be higher.

Some whale is definitely in play here for this coin on Bittrex, only times someone has sold at Bid price volume has been very small but still has a psychological impact that causes people to panic. I bet a lot of miners are in this for the long run because they believe in the project, but it's all a matter of having patience and how Dev team handles things.

which is correct those whales who are playing to make more panic and the weak holders will blame the dev i guess we should learn the move so we know when to hold and when to sell.

I think #1 on poolinator just sells every day, as he gets like 30-40% of all coins.
He just wakes up, goes to toilet, dumps there and then same with Verium :-D
