So I will share with you the following facts from my observations:
1. You all know that the event started with a delay of 5-6 minutes
2. Video because of which allegedly there was a delay so it was not published on any resource (we can conclude that it simply does not exist)
3. The beginning of the event is 19:00 UMT
4. Everyone expected that in this video the release date of Beta release will be called or that it is launched at this moment and in anticipation of this news the price grew
5. We open the LBC/BTC chart and see that the first major sale occurred exactly in the first 5 minutes of the event (just 5-6 minutes everyone was waiting for the beginning of Jeremy's video appeal).

As you can see, there are all signs of insider trading (it's worth noting that this is illegal in the US), but we can not say that this is really so. Because someone has to admit it (and there are no fools to admit it). I do not want to say that the delay was due to the fact that Jeremy was desperately selling his LBC. But it is obvious that someone with insider information about the next delay in the release of Beta sold coins for almost 97.3 btzc (~ $ 255000) knowing that there will be a drop (this is evident when the Beta release is postponed), while everyone was waiting for a sharp increase. It is obvious that someone close to LBRYteam having information made the sale at the peak.
Those who participated in other video calls with project developers (NXC for example) then I know that the sales / purchases were based on the information received and not until the news was received. I also saw in one of the videos from the blogger that LBRYteam can sell their pre-mine, I do not think they sell it, BUT now I think that something like this can happen because the facts are still bad.
In general, if in a nutshell: someone knew that the event would be bad on the event and sold $ 255,000 on our head (yes, I also suffered a loss of almost 50% as a result of the price decline). It is obvious.
In total, it was sold for more than 500 btc ($1.3 millions) during the event.

On this sad note, I stop investing in the LBRY until there is clarity about this trade. I said yesterday & today that I intend to sell my $lbc while I have a profit. Thanks to the latest course jumps that allowed me to smoothly exit in the 21-25k interval.
Perhaps I will not be able to make a profit now as a result of some growth, but at least I will be distant from possible fraudulent manipulation.

Hmmm how are you going to make all these micro payments in Dollar? That is the benefit of using a crypto currency. There is now app without LBC and there is no LBC without the app. Also just to be clear about 1 thing as far as price for content providers, when uploading a video you can choose to have your price set in LBC or USD so if you charge $1 USD for you video and price of LBC dipps you are still paid $1 USD worth of LBC.

I would make it this way: you deposit 10$, pay 0.001$, then you have 9.999$ (can withdraw 9.99$, 0.009$ are left on your dollar app wallet), author gets +0.001$ in his wallet and he can withdraw when he have 0.01$. You have to consider transaction fees here, I'm pretty sure they exist with this kind of programs. So fees may be the point here, but is there no fees on LBC transactions now? Will there be no fees in the future? I just read FAQ (which I should have done in the first place, yeah) and didn't find answers.

FAQ says creators get 100% of the money, but hosters get some money too. Where does it come from? If it is from initial 400kk then will hosters stop getting money?

Is there any way to download all available content and host it?

I also bought more at near top, but I will just wait this out. Selling now would be iditioc, just hold it or buy now. Every project has some problems and needs time for development, which is actually the very best time to buy in, because afterwards it is too late. Smart investors buy at the current stage, wait 2-3 months and profit. Anything else is pointless. Dont cry later because you sold with losses now and then it went up again - which is inevitable the more the project gets known and develops.

Depend on your strategy and environment (cheap electricity and free rent) + mine most profitable coin and convert to lbry may give you ROI in 5-6 months . Ofc there are lot of risks, but my bet if you will do in true way everything will be fine.

I did not quite understand what should be canceled, but my opinion a big role will be played by the "cancellation" of LBC in the list of traded pairs for polo. The truth of this should not happen, but it's also not entirely clear how polo chooses to add and remove coins to / from the list of trades)))

btc is not falling normal price correction, and lbry is falling by 1/3, which is a lot, don't know why they are dumping, maybe investors are taking their profit? investors that bought at 20k satoshi dumping at 30k could make sense, they fear the dumping of the one that bought at 10k, also miners here that accumulated for so long are dumping with this good profit
