What was the reason for such sudden rise in price? Webpage was published days ago, meetings went on continuosly during the last few months, no special marketing strategies were going on, there was no surge in marketcap which would mean one huge investor...

Don't bother. I asked the same question (page 173 i think) when financing was explained and rewards from mints were mentioned, but I haven't received an answer till this moment

I thought to buy some xaur but dipping low in price and continuing to show a dip makes me fear. It will be better that someone who is a investor comment on this.

You mean last september. The price you talk about was before RICO. Then coin splits 1XAU =8000XAUR. If you calculate the price at RICO was about 0.02$ for XAUR.

As robivon explained it can only be the price from last year before RICO. The question is why you are talking about September. The highest price of XAU was 16th of August 2016.
