i am still a kid myself and also i am still single so i have to find a wife and have some children then think about what i am going to leave them but it is a good idea to put something away in cold storage for them and then put the password to decrypt that cold storage wallet in your will so they can find it and use the balance. I think that it does not matter the age, we are free to think about the future and as far as i know in the rich countries people save since the beginning of the life and save money for university, marriage etc.

Saving Bitcoins for the child/children is a good idea, though I don't have yet a child I can save bitcoin but as long as I'm not in that stage I'm gonna still contiue doing trading to make my bitcoin grow for me to have savings in the future. Because I do believe years from now bitcoin will rise up to 2000$ stable price.

I am no studying how to do proper trading of bitcoin. While doing that, I let some of my coins loaned and earn from interest. But I know I will earn more than that if I do trading.

Bitcoin is a long term project. Therefore it makes sense to save small parts over a long horizon. Do you save Bitcoins for your (grand) child or children?
For those who do not have (grand) children (yet), would you save Bitcoin for them if you would have (grand) children?
I don't have a child yet but I'm saving Bitcoin hoping that it's price will rise in the future and then I can make use of it to invest in something not Bitcoin related. It's my plan to have multiple source of income because I'll never know what will happen so better have security and make sure that I'm still earning even if my other investments failed. I'm hoping that the price will really rise so that when the time comes when I have children already then I can provide for their needs not worrying about money anymore.

that sounds like a great idea. and I think I will do it in the future, because my plan has always been keeping bitcoin forever. I mean I will always hold bitcoin even if I sell all of my coins, I will still keep something left at the bottom of my wallet for the future of that future, so I guess if bitcoin is still alive and kicking when I am old I would leave something for my grand children.

What i have now is few bitcoin plastic coin and a keychain that I got as a gift from MJ here, I may keep them for a long time and give them to the next generations, leaving bitcoin for children/grandchildren needs a strong decision because we cant know if bitcoin will be available at that time or if bitcoin will worth less than now.

I don’t have grand children yet and I don’t have children yet but wait I haven’t married yet. Well, that means I have comparatively large timeline to save bitcoins for my next generations. Yes, bitcoin is long term project but I haven’t yet made any decision of what I will do in next 10 or 20 years. We can’t even forecast what will happen in the world of crypto currency, we can just predict things and it might went wrong most the times. Yes, I do have some plans to save bitcoins for long term but I don’t have any idea what is that term? 5 years (maybe) 50 years (maybe).

Just with the hope of a very high price than the present price, I used to spend small portion of my earning regularly upon bitcoin. I'm not sure who is gonna use it, because I've planned of converting to fiat when it touches the price that I've been targeting for a long time.

Is not so easy to do, because if something bad will happen to me or my family and this money will be necessary i will use it anyway.

Nope, it's still a long long time to save bitcoin for my grandchildren and i'm still 21. I'm not saving bitcoin for my child / children for now. I need it for my own self for now.

Its a nice idea but I am a bit of an egoistic person. I am saving bitcoins yes, but only saving for myself. No one on this earth left me anything so why should I leave something to someone no matter how close or related to me he/she is ? Anyway in the end they the grand children will benefit because I hope to have saved a nice amount of bitcoins until I get old in age and have a few grand children. For the moment I am only in love and not married and don't have any children so there is time until then.

You can say that for now since you dont have a son, It would probably change your mind if you see you son especially to your grandson. As you say you dont have care even how close you are but when you see those kid or son of yours you would be very happy and nothing in this world could surpassed or buy that happiness you felt.

so yeah it is better not to save up for children or grandchildren as they should put their efforts themselves into making a lot of money for a living

I have most of my bitcoins in an online wallet where I trade them and flip them, a small precentage of them, from each trade I do, I transfer to my local wallet, and this might be for the far future or might be for when I feel like it. I'd like it to be for the far future but I know my self, I will probably use them before.

I'm saving bitcoins but it's not for my grandchildren/child cause I'm so young and it doesn't crossed my mind yet but I think there is still a possibility cause if it can help someone why not? And I might withdraw my coins for emergency purposes

yes. I would definitely love to save bitcoins for my grand children. because bitcoin is a trusted currency right now. and it have a good potential to grow up in future. I may save 1 million$ of bitcoin today for my children and when my children come to the world the 1 million$ may become 1 billion$. this is not a joke. bitcoin can make it possible
