Save you Bitcoin for your (grand) child / children?

yes. I would definitely love to save bitcoins for my grand children. because bitcoin is a trusted currency right now. and it have a good potential to grow up in future. I may save 1 million$ of bitcoin today for my children and when my children come to the world the 1 million$ may become 1 billion$. this is not a joke. bitcoin can make it possible

yes that is right, and i will like to say that saving for my children is ok. every one is earning money to have good life and make the future of their children but saving for the children's/ children is something odd, i think it will be the responsibility of our children to take care of their choildren there for i am not in favour of this statement and saving for children is enough,

Lol i see this as excuse, saving do not require any certain age to start it.  Some kids at the age of 5 or 6 were taught to save some of their allowances so they will have something to use when they need money.  I agree to save some bitcoin, even if it is not for your kids or grandchildren.   Just make yourself as the main reason why  you need to save.  Save some Bitcoin to aid you in time of needs.

Maybe, in 40-50 years and who can predict what will happen in 50 years from now?
I'm not sure if Bitcoin still will be number 1 virtual currency, not even sure if Internet will exist in current form.
I think it's better to leave children wisdom how to become successful and honest people  in this world.

I don't have a grand children at the moment but if i were to ask if i can save my BTC for my grandchildren, i must say that yes. I will. because i know and i have a strong feeling that the price of BTC will rise in the near future and that time, my grandchildren will benefit for that. I'm gonna earn more for them for me to be remembered by them.

I love the idea of saving and accumulating bitcoins as early as now so I could give it to my kids when the price has gone really high. I currently have a very small amount which came from buying and little earnings here and there. If I'm able to continue with what I do presently, I might end up with a decent amount, in say, 20 years. Would be a nice wedding gift for my kids I should say.

With bitcoins you could even implant the child with a small piece of metal in his flesh in which is engraved a wallet. (But this could be a bad idea since it would encourage thiefs to kidnap him and steal it from inside him

I have a different paper wallet for each of them, and every year I add some dollar worth of bitcoin on their birthdays

I think that would be a great thing to do and for the future generations as well, Plenty of people have become rich thanks to their grandfathers work and I think it would be good to leave some bitcoins for them in case it goes as mainstream as most of the people here predict.

Saving bitcoin for my children or my grandchildren will be great, but i doubt bitcoin can survive until i have grand children, but for sure i am going to save bitcoin for my children, for now and future, bitcoin is a great investment tool, and if the halving effect happen, it will raise the bitcoin price for sure, hopefully when i pass down the bitcoin for my children the price is already more than 1000$

bitcoin is the best thing you can leave for your children and give it to them after a very long time (many years in the future) because of the price and the possibility of the long term big rises.
just remember to create a cold storage the most secure way possible and you can add to it over time too. a laminated paper wallet is the nicest option in my opinion.

For me personally, that is quite a distance off in the future, where they would be able to appreciate / understand what it is. Who knows if BTC will still be the dominate player in the Crypto space by then?

I'm saving bitcoins but it's not for my grandchildren/child cause I'm so young and it doesn't crossed my mind yet but I think there is still a possibility cause if it can help someone why not? And I might withdraw my coins for emergency purposes

Im too young to think about grandchildren. When Bitcoin is 100k+ in 10+ years, I will enjoy the gains myself, and then we will talk about grand children later. I am only 30 years old, in 10 years I can still be a fresh looking 40 year old with a big wealth to enjoy

That is really cool man. your grandchildren will be surprise when they know you saved lots of bitcoin for them in their every birthday. I think it is all our responsibility to save some money and give our grandchildrens a good future what we didn't get..

I may save some to give them later on but nothing grand, my plan is to earn as much as possible everyday, sell the large portion and save around 5-10% from everyday and hold it untill the price jumps

I'm already saving a fair amount of money for my children and grand-children, assuming that I get that far, mostly because I believe that a legacy s more important than just having a number there and available whenever, and giving your children or whoever a head-start is a pretty big bonus for them and it can help them out a lot. While you should spend some money on yourself, the future is important.
