i do not think bitcoin users save their bitcoin for grand child or children bitcoin, i think anyone do not know that what price will be bitcoin low or high in the future.
yeah you're right I did not keep my bitcoin for my children and grandchildren. because I myself think that is it bitcoin could last until decades later? I think no one can be sure that it will happen? so just to prepare and guard I always convert my bitcoin to fiat and I'll save a lot of money for my children and grandchildren?

Lol it is not an excuse to spend all your earning from bitcoin into something unimportant.  If you think about your children or grandchildren, and want to save for your kids, I agree you can convert it to fiat and save it.  But if for now bitcoin is  so trendy that it always increase in price, you can just keep it for a while then convert it at its peak price.

if you are scared of losing or about the price or even if you are cheap you can buy a small amount of bitcoin like $50-$100 more or less and keep it for your children.
many have gotten rich this way when they bought bitcoin back in 2009 and in those years when bitcoin price was like $10

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

Everything we do, we do for our children. At the moment I save coins,  but I need to admit that I didn't think about giving them to my kids. I save for one day when they worth to have some money, but giving coins to children or grandchildren is great idea, better to give them coins then real cash.
My kid is still young, at the age of 1 year he doesn't understand anything. For couple years I will start to show him what he can do, maybe I will need to wait even more. Thatis why I also see bitcoins as long term investment.

This is something I have been considering recently as I have just got the 1 toddler, would it work out better than any standard ISA or saving account, possibly and it would definitely be safer then a traditional bank holding your money as you will have complete control of the keys.

Bitcoin is a long term project. Therefore it makes sense to save small parts over a long horizon. Do you save Bitcoins for your (grand) child or children?

For those who do not have (grand) children (yet), would you save Bitcoin for them if you would have (grand) children?

I save mostly for the old version of myself

I even don't have boylfriend and i don't have lots of bitcoin, so i only save bitcoin only for myself for now.
But, if i have a family future, i would do that if bitcoin still have potential to be global currency.

Yeah your right some people bought bitcoin way back 2009 then they have a lot of bitcoins now they are so awesome!. The price of bitcoin now is keep on rising so expect 10-25 years then if that time comes then you have a children or grandchildren then you can give bitcoin to them and that is so big Cheesy

I never think to save bitcoin for my grand children. I am so young at now, i only earning bitcoin for my family and pay for study in university . the cost for study is get higher day by day, and you're idea is good enough. Holding bitcoin from now will help them to pay the study cost until university. I hope my grand child will succes in the future.

Just no. Who knows what will happen to Bitcoin in the future, it's such a risky currency. Apart from that, I might never have a child so I find it difficult to give him anything  Roll Eyes

Yes, why not we work for the family I'll save for my child's future.
the same thing you do in the future the faster the better thing to do for it trading may be the solution for now or you start by buying low and selling high price

You can't be 100% sure that Bitcoin will still be around that long, while I think it might be a good investment, it's always better to diversify a little and also invest in something else.
Not talking about a savings account, but maybe precious metals.

Cryptocurrency very unstable and if it is possible to collect in the future anything for kids, then suddenly you can lose everything. So if you happen to make using bitcoin, it is better to translate everything in real currency.

Yeah if you have good number of coins and if you see higher price in future then its better to sell them off and grab the profits as we never know how long bitcoin will survive.

a good idea, I'll save some bitcoin for (grand) child/children in the future.

I will introduce bitcoin on them, so they do not have to strive and work hard to earn bitcoin from the faucet.

Absolutely yes. Although I don't think money is the answer, I do think that if you have some to cover your education it won't hurt. Since Bitcoin is here to stay and the price of it is rising I think it's a good idea to save some for your grandchildren, they might see the $1M price, who knows.

I absolutely agree with you. I think it would be better to change btc to real currency or gold, btc is too young and it is impossible to predict its future

I don't really think about it, which I think is a digital currency that are very good and professional, but also give something different things. It fulfilled with the arrival of the bitcoin, the future could not be predicted. However we can see something of the heyday of growth now and also the instructions from God

lol, first of all not all of us are married, and second, you don't really know what brings to the life this world.
But again when you think about it what happens in 50 years from now and how can we save a few bitcoins for our next generation?
Only if our grand parents thought about us like we do now for our grand children.
