what up  bb ,  hows them second half lines comin  along,  later  bud.

Hey Wolf, we got first 1st half and 1st quarter lines up for all NFL games! We are working on 2nd halfs. They should be ready for week 2.

Great to hear, afterwards if you could add 1st 5 innings for MLB too that would be even better. But second half lines at halftime for both NFL and NBA definitely needed. Keep up the good work.

We are now offering Baseball first half lines on all games! Check them out at https://bitbook.biz/sport/14/baseball.

We're also working hard to have NFL 2nd half lines in time for Thursday's Pats - Jets game!

Does 1st half for baseball equal first 5 innings?

I don't know of many books that do that. Best you could do at most places is to either hope for the best or bet the other side to minimize loss.

Yeah, just bet on both sides, you won't lose too much.

Because odds are constantly shifting, and because our high payouts leave very thin margins we cannot cancel wagers once they are placed.

New Blog Post

We analyzed some stats from our NFL week 1 betting, and put them into a new blog post:
http://bitbookbiz.tumblr.com/post/60948434713/a-look-at-nfl-week-1

There were some interesting results, including a a very strong trend in favorite vs. underdog betting.

Hey King, for MLB we are offering spread and total 1st halfs. For NFL we have spread, total, and ML 1st half and 1st quarters.

Just bet on Japan vs Colombia (tennis) and cannot find the match any where, but many sources say it is actually tomorrow -- your site says it started 20 minutes prior to this posting. What gives?

Hi bitbookbiz,
I still cannot find the 1st half / 1st 5 innings offerings for MLB. The only two columns when I click on the MLB tab is "MLB" and "Alt Runlines". Neither have 1st half or 1st 5 innings lines. Can you please direct me to where they are so I can see the lines? Thanks.

Hello,

I recently ( 40 minutes ago ) on a tennis match, it started 30 minutes ago. I can not find a stream or a information source that it is today. That is Japan and Colombia, but your sports book has it that it started 30 minutes ago. What gives?

Bitbook response: That match is part of the Davis Cup. Here is the official page: http://www.daviscup.com/en/draws-results/tie/details.aspx?tieId=100019839

Please let us know if we can help with anything else.

Ok your guys sport book is telling me it started an hour ago when in Japan it has not started yet, some thing is wrong with your guy's listing is my concern, so I deposited my bitcoin way early and so did other's probably, I will be posting this in the BitBook thread for more discussion

Hey Lucullus, if you believe there is a problem and would like help with any specifics of this bet, please send us a PM and we can help you. We use the stated start times for a given event, but in large multi-match events they sometimes won't correlate to each specific contest. In this case the event will take place over the course of several days, with the first part starting in about 11 hours.

Bit Book: Sorry, is there a problem? If you'd like we can cancel your bet. We use the stated start times, which can very. In the case of this event the start time is for the overall event, but not all specific contests.

Which event started an hour ago in this specific bet? This is troublesome because I cannot find any relating to this match or this Davis Cup and the Davis Cup website you referred me to says the first event starts tomorrow.

(Are these guy's trying to say that an event started an hour ago as there book says it did, or any specific contest, because there is none. It is troublesome because they may have started taking bets 12 hours before the Davis Cup, Japan vs Colombia started. I am looking for other opinions.)

I do not like my money tied up. You started taking bets 12 hours before the Davis Cup, Japan vs Colombia, tournament began. This is the problem. I placed a cancellation order, but please show a more accurate start time with future events.

If you knew anything about tennis you would know that tennis matches have LISTED times when they begin. Due to extra sets such as going to 3 in a best of 3 match, the times for later matches are almost ALWAYS an hour or two past the start time. However, many sportsbooks simply remove the line at the listed time to prevent any bad bets from being made against them.

Please do your research before trying to bash a reputable book. You obviously bet on something you honestly had no idea about...I'd advise you to not chase losses.

We normally cannot process bet cancellations, but we will make an exception in this case, due to the misunderstanding.

I sent a private message for account confirmation. If you reply we can process the cancellation.
