There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

I've definitely had some online books run off on me, like "betisland" and others. Luckily i'm not a good enough bettor to actually keep many funds and lose them THAT way but i'm always scared. So I am sorry to the bitbook family for getting so spooked... part of the reason i use bitcoins is to not have random companies control my money as much as they do. Usually have to ship money to costa rica, nicaragua, philippines... and now I am actually banned from moneygram and western union because of sending thousands here and there... pretty stupid. So I really do appreciate bitbook and am always nervous about getting screwed so trust no one, but in bitbook will i use |

can you please refund me my starcraft 2 bets for today? it turns out it's scheduled to play october 17th, not today and on the site it said it was scheduled to play today.
I have about 8 coins on the sc2 matches so if i could get those refunded asap so i can spew off at something else (or use the coins) that would really help me out. Thank you. I REALLY REALLY don't feel I should wait until October 17th when it was listed as playing today.

yeah well thanks for the advice.. i enjoy my starcraft 2 ... but yeah i am really hoping i can get these refunded soon and not have my coin tied up for 9 freaking days  the league changed the scheduling at the last minute to october 19th and your site didn't update it so was thinking the matches started went off today |

It's pretty much my new favorite pastime. Starcraft 2 is an extremely amazing game, nothing like it. And it's growing as a competitive "sport"... one of my favorite new things to bet. I'll post some time when there's a good game coming on... right now they switched group "d" to today instead of group "b" which was originally planned. |

I have about 30 of these esports bets totaling 5.7 bitcoins and when i wagered it said it was starting in 20 minutes. Please refund this to me asap. The grading of the esports bets regularly takes entirely too long. Has been taking 12 hours or more and now my bets say it's happening in 8 days?

These bets switched to 9 days from now after i bet it and it was scheduled for yesterday, then the league switched it to 8 or 9 days from the time of the original schedule. I have 5.7 coins tied up and no response for 24 hours. I'm starting to get fed up with the lack of assistance or communication |

All you do is completely overreact to any obstacle put in front of you. Normally, when you place a bet, you can't get refunded, because odds change all the time. Whats to stop someone from making a bet, then when the odds change, cancelling it and making a new bet? Or cancelling a bet because after you bet, something major happened. If you don't understand betting, don't bet. And if you can't afford to lose, stop also. |

What are you talking about? I bet an event and the scheduling got switched to 9 days later. What don't you get about that I should have been refunded or talked to about this hours ago.

Popular bets mean that they have the most money bet on them. If you have 6 coins n it, it is likely that it has the most amount of btc currently wagered on it. Not alot of big bets currently up, the college and nfl people probably not put in their bets yet |
