the tennis match S. Lisicki vs M. Lucic-Baroni wrapped up awhile ago (~6hrs ago), but bets for it are still pending. Just curious, when do bets get backed up like this? Most of the time they are settled very quickly after the conclusion of the match, so this particular one just seemed unusual.

Only mistake I made was using bitbook site that's been open for 3 months . I put in the correct amount and it told me amount I would win and then paid .0096 scam site no tin foil hat when you bet 107 to win a buck

In most cases we grade bets immediately and automatically, however if our auto-grader isn't 100% sure it backs off and we review later. This sometimes happens in less major events, which is did here. All graded now though!

I put in whatever amount I transferred from my wallet said I would win .9 I clicked enter  I got scammed  and will keep reiterating biggest nonsense scam site EVER . Im going to to put in almost a full bitcoin to bet 1 dollar your a joke and I bet 107 almost to win a dollar . They handled this situation like a 16 year old high school bookie would. I put in .98 and said I would win .9 there is no way this is even close to being .01 if anything the software screwed up and you SCAMMED ME.Your software or bitbook software does tell you amount you will win based on your bet I didn't missclick or miss read that . You plain out scammed me either way.

I put in that I was betting .98 and it calculated my winnings at .9 and I clicked to cofirm enter there is no mistaking that or any way I could have not done that correctly!

Sunday's NBA finals game 5 was our largest event of all time, with over 100 BTC wagered!

Thanks so much for the continued support!

Game 6 starts in a few hours. Looks like the early action is on the Spurs to close it out.

@bitbookbiz, what are your thoughts about implementing a simple client-side confirmation dialog upon making a wager? could be a javascript popup, or something fancier like some element appearing on the page asking for another click. while it's nice and simple to just click and place a wager, that power is also a little frightening sometimes because the wagers are often defaulted to some amount.

for the record, i like bitbook.biz thus far. odds are great, interface is easy to get around, deposits and withdrawals operate properly, and pending wagers are settled up quickly. i've given up using BTCSportsBet thanks to all those features and the better payout odds at BitBook so consider me a loyal fan of your site. keep up the good work!

Hey Macro! First off, glad you're liking BitBook!

We've thought a bit about the confirmation box. We like the quick, simple experience of placing a bet in online poker games, which is what we are trying to match with our 1-click betting. It's a bit of a trade-off cause there is a chance of misclicks, but in general we tend to favor keeping the experience super streamlined. One feature we added to help with this is that your default bet amount should be the size of your last bet. This way each user has a default bet tailored to them.

Thanks again for the kind words!

but bets for it are still pending.

In the case of some MLB games the game does not show up as pending but actually as being "Finished" with the correct score (compared to xscores.com and other sites). Yet it also takes some time there to get it payed out. IMHO MLB is not some minor league so how is it possible that these aren't payed out immediately?

Also @ the person above claiming they scam: I think you get "winnings" wrong. For example, you put 1BTC on something that has "winning odds" of 1.5, you will get 1.5BTC back when you won. But remember, you already payed 1BTC so your total is +0.5BTC.
This is completely normal and any sportsbook works like this (otherwise the odds would be insane and one could win 100% by betting on all options at once).

This site is awesome! I've been playing for the last week here and it's easy

Wake up, check the lines, place 4-5 bets or a parlay if I'm feeling extra confident

Go to work, check the scores under pending bets on my phone when I have a second

Collect my BTC! Cheesy

For most major events we have an auto-grader compare results from multiple sources and if there is agreement we score bets (generally within minutes of event completion). This is also true for baseball, however because baseball can often have less usual results (postponed, cancelled, called before 9 innings) we have additional checks in place to ensure that games aren't graded incorrectly. This sometimes slows down the grading, but we will continue to work hard to make al scoring as fast as possible.

If you see "finished" before a bet is scored it is because there is score confirmation from 1 source, but we are still waiting for agreement from more sources.

Hope that makes sense. Thanks for the thought and as mentioned we will continuously work to make our scoring as quick as possible.
