The token launch will be starting in a few weeks, but the exact date is TBA. The finalization and securitization of the smart contracts is the most important piece.

Some technical problems? You mean just before launch, announcing that they can't keep up with traffic (even without people going to the site, so its BS) and delaying it 24hours, then failing again because they had 2 blocks where people received 50% bonus instead of 10%, so they changed the ICO to 10hours instead of first 2 blocks of receiving BTC. If you fail that hard at collecting people's money I can't even imagine what a fail your end product will be. If you're not convinced, read their thread and see how many pages there are of people complain and stating their fail.

SNGLS token is good for long term investment. Singular DTV has got a good team and I am sure that they will be able to give good returns back to the token holders after 3 years or so. I am planning to invest a good chunk of my money into SingularDTV for the following reasons:

1. The team. Read and do your homework, you know what they are capable of.

3. Pay back in the form of dividends to token holders.
4. tokens issued at dirt cheap and no minimum amount to invest.

To lure all that sweet movie production money into an area, states and even countries often create some extremely... generous tax incentives. In 2008, Tom Wheeler, the director of the Iowa Film Office, boasted about Iowa's 50% transferable tax credits (25% to a film's producer and 25% to the investor), claiming this was the highest incentive offered by any state in the nation. And that's probably why Polynation Pictures decided to film the metaphysical science fiction movie The Scientist, with its estimated budget of $100,000. The funny thing is, the movie's budget suddenly skyrocketed to $2.3 million over the course of filming. Turns out the production company and associates made a profit of $1.3 million dollars, by defrauding the state with fake and inflated invoices. The tax credit program was cancelled by 2009, arrests were made and people were fired. Why bother trying to make and sell an actual movie to a distributor, when you can just turn a huge profit in the making of a movie? To be fair The Scientist was finished — but was held back from wide release, due to it being owned by a company under investigation for theft.

This is the only movie he wrote / directed beside a 16 minute short Light and Darkness: The Rogue and Zorra which is not yet out. I'm interested in the platform itself but this does not look good at all. I hope Zach will read this and reply.

LeBeau was named in a new criminal complaint filed last week along with defendants previously named, Wendy Weiner Runge and Matthias Alexander Saunders, who are free on bail bond.

The complaint and affidavit contains one count of ongoing criminal conduct and 11 counts of first-degree fraudulent practice against Runge, Saunders, and LeBeau. Was there some inflation of invoices? Yes. LeBeau, Brandau and Saunders pleaded guilty to theft and were given fines and probation. Did Wheeler mislead filmmakers who sought confirmation that their invoices were within the state guidelines? Yes. He was sentenced to a fine and to time served.

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — The budget for a movie that was awarded tax credits in Iowa soared after the film company's partners learned about the state's program that provides tax breaks to attract such projects to Iowa, the film's sound designer testified Wednesday.

Chase Brandau testified in the theft and fraud trial of Wendy Weiner Runge, one of the owners of Polynation Pictures. The Minneapolis company received $1.8 million in incentives for the film, which Brandau said had an initial budget of about $100,000, The Des Moines Register reported.

Brandau said that after the tax credits were awarded in December 2008, Runge sent an e-mail to her partners promising to toast them with champagne. Brandau also said the partners were given $33,000 — on top of his $52,000 paycheck, his $2,400-a-month loft and the $450 he received weekly just to be on the set.

Brandau said Runge and Zach LeBeau, the film's screenwriter, never told him what they took home. Brandau also said Runge dealt alone with Tom Wheeler, the manager of the Iowa Film Office at the time, and Chad Witter, a major investor in the film who prosecutors say profited after brokering the award.

Brandau said he never met Witter.
