Yes, I believe in God.

FYI: You are to write God as G-o-d, not g-o-d.

My reasons: Nature follows an orderly and precise pattern, so precise that you can forecast the whether. Scientific principles are based on the precise laws of nature, we have technology because nature can be counted on to behave in a particular manner ALL the time.
That screams creation.

Nature was created, that is why it's so precise.
If you say no it wasn't, you might as well tell me bitcoin and the blockchain just came into existence, they were not developed by someone.

Yes,  God,  with G,  not with g. That is how we spell God. He is our creator, we should believe in God.
God is who createed this big big world.

It's Sunday. The atheists might not answer you. They are in church.    Grin

It might surprise you to learn that I do go to church. Some of the easiest and sweetest tight pussy I've ever had I hooked up with at a baptist church. My second wife and the nastiest ho I ever met was the deacons goddaughter at my local baptist church. That girl could suck the chrome off a truck bumper. I had to get rid of her though. She was sleeping with four other guys while we were married.

Cute little side story: I got my revenge by sleeping with her sister (another sweet little Christian girl). That was a twofer. It made her hate her sister and pissed off her Jesus freak parents, which was fun, and it made her divorce me, which I wanted.

The girls, having been brought up as they have, might truly understand and be saved someday. You probably won't.

Consider. The thing that makes love making and sex so pleasurable has to do with the way we are built.

Saint Paul tells us that we don't really know what we will be like - how we will be built - in the afterlife.

Without all the corruption and evil in this life, whatever goes for pleasure in the afterlife, will be way better than sex is in this life.

Do you really want to miss all that.

Resurrection from the dead to an afterlife? The New Testament is and contains eye witness reports to the fact of Jesus death and resurrection to eternal life. Jesus was the first. We will follow... one way or the other.

Cool

Eye witness reports  Cheesy

The earliest list of New Testament books of which we have definite knowledge was drawn up at Rome by the heretic Marcion about 140. Marcion distinguished the inferior Creator-God of the Old Testament from the God and Father revealed in Christ, and believed that the Church ought to jettison all that appertained to the former. This 'theological anti-semitism' involved the rejecting not only of the entire Old Testament but also of those parts of the New Testament which seemed to him to be infected with Judaism. So Marcion's canon consisted of two parts: (a) an expurgated edition of the third Gospel, which is the least Jewish of the Gospels, being written by the Gentile Luke; and (b) ten of the Pauline Epistles (the three 'Pastoral Epistles' being omitted). Marcion's list, however, does not represent the current verdict of the Church but a deliberate aberration from it.

It's a load of old coprolite's verses 1 to infinity, that wrote this anyhow.

Hearsay accounts are not eyewitness accounts.

Christian literalists will stop at no lengths to persuade you that the bible is a reliable historical account of Jesus. At the same time, persuading you that other competing holy books are deeply flawed.

Perhaps we should throw our all the records about ancient Greek and Roman philosophers and scientists as well. Have you just pulled your head out of the sand, or what? Sounds like you need to stick it back in there.

Cool

Depending whether they fit inside your narrow religious doctrine guidelines will decide if you throw them out or not.
Anyway, the point is, the gospels aren't eyewitness accounts because eyewitnesses didn't write them. They are not firsthand accounts. They just say what they heard, hence "heresay".
Using the word "eyewitness(es)" is rather misleading. Which is common delibrate tactic, as we would expect.

As usual, you try to set yourself up as God by misrepresenting the things of God.

Cool

Show me one animal who died, was buried, resurrected after 3 days and is alive today.

Just one example.  If you don't have it, just crawl back into your Texan hole and shut up.

You sound so bitter... so angry... so in pain... so in need of love. But you will just have to do your own research into resurrected animals if this is something you are really looking for.

It is faith. The resurrection will happen at the return of Jesus, the first person to be resurrected. We believe this by faith, just the same as you believe what you believe by faith.

The difference is that you have weak faith. Here is what I mean. Your faith is based on the fact that you don't see any resurrected animals. You have all this evidence to base your knowledge on, so you don't need much faith.

We have strong faith. We don't see any resurrected animals, either. But we still believe in the resurrection. If we saw some resurrected animals, our faith wouldn't be as strong as it is, because some of it would turn into knowledge.

God wants us to believe Him when He tells us about the coming resurrection. We DO believe Him, because we have strong faith.

Faith is the basis of living, because nobody knows what will happen in the next minute. We all live by faith. We have faith that the next minute will be at least as good as the last. It would benefit you a whole lot to have faith in God, so that you can have strong faith rather than weak faith. Maybe then you wouldn't be so bitter.
