Semi noob PatMan here - going through the reading, learning & posting process.......that four hours goes slow eh?

Been mining for longer than I've been registered here, but I gotta say, I've learned a lot since I did join. I use P2pool as I like the idea of it, small mining so far but got some stuff in the works to move up a notch or two. Got a feeling the bAsics will turn the BitCoin thing on it's head though - I'm getting one for sure.

Don't forget your heads.  Shocked

I've actually been using Bitcoins for a year or two, but cannot find anywhere to buy in UK at the moment, which is why I joined this forum.

Should have joined a while ago, looks very useful!

Sounds like a good idea.
:)HI all, Im lookin into trading in bitcoins. Unfortuantely, the U.K appears to be the worst place to access the coin in the 1st instance so ill be doing some initial research on here.

gl to all

Same here.  All I'm trying to do is buy some BTC in the UK.

Hi there british people. I too found it hard to get bitcoin with our beloved sterling. which is why I am thinking of making a bitinstant like site for the UK population. At first taking in sterling in exchange for bitcoin, as the funds increase then offering a cashing out method using pre-paid visa debit cards that you see at Shell petrol stations. that can be topped up the same day. the better thing about using a UK to bitcoin service I release is that the sterling reaches my account same day, within the hour in some cases (depending on your UK bank). so it will be quicker then using those annoying American services with all their FIAT conversion prices and then fee's. So there would be less fee's eventually to make my service the best solution for us Brits.

It is still in the development stage. But it seems your problems are soon to be solved.

So i welcome your custom when the site goes live and feel free to PM me any idea's what little extra's you would like to see a UK version of bitinstant perform for its customers. No idea is too obsurd, so feel free to PM me with more idea's to make my future site a roaring success.

Hey Kyra, nice to meet you :-). I have done some web pages, but I had help for the harder ones (not too much into the coding side of things). I guess I'm a student of life right now. I'm pretty interested in this whole bit coin thing, didn't even know about it until I joined a forum dedicated to bitcoins on meetup.com. As I mentioned in said group, I've watched documentaries such as Money as Debt and its sequels, and they actually did mention that something like bitcoin could be the solution to our money problems, which I agree with.

I am Kuaka...Destroyer of Sacred Religious Idols...or some such nonsense from a Hawaiian name generator.  I'm looking to understand more about Bitcoin and the possibility of using it instead of so-called money for as much as possible.

Hi there everyone my name is Sam (Gotti)  Cool

I'm new to the bitcoin world & wish to purchase a couple of bitcoins to buy things you can only buy with bitcoins. I did a little research and figured that www.bitstamp.net would be a good website to purchase my bitcoins (need about 9.5 of them).

I have a few questions & I hope that you can help me on these.

1. Let's say I send my money to bitstamp via SEPA, it arrives there the next day or two & I buy me some bitcoins with the money. Will they offer me a blank form where I can put the address of my e-wallet (already provided by the website I need the bitcoins for) in & will it be sent to my e-wallet without any problems ?

2. Can I really trust bitstamp with my money ?
