News: BIP91 seems stable: there's probably only slightly increased risk of confirmations disappearing. You should still prepare for Aug 1.

Hi all,
trying to get up and running exchanging USD for BTC but dwolla and mtgox seem to want to make things difficult.  3 business day for a bank transfer meant basically a week due to the holiday, now even with the $ in my dwolla account I can't simply send it to mtgox - even through a service like bitinstant. Heck, I can't even get bitinstant's dwolla-> coinapult transaction working.
Am I missing something obvious? Is dwolla currently having issues I'm unaware of?

Posting in case I don't get white listed in next 3.5 hours Smiley Not pissed at all.

Look forward to joining and getting more involved with community and currency.

I would expect to be in development on 1-2 unique bitcoin related services/ideas very shortly. But no, I won't be posting idea on business thread, but do look forward to networking to meet some possible partners if see  something unique that could benefit the project and the progress.

Besides that I have some unique offers for the marketplace which I assume/hope will have a decent interest level.

Always happy to see new and creative ideas on how to use Bitcoins!

Speaking of, does anyone have ideas on how to verify Paypal accounts?  I swear eBay is full of account thieves.

Hi, I'm new! I've been spending the last few days voraciously devouring everything I can find about bitcoin before setting up my own wallet, I can't imagine no-one invented this before. I guess all good ideas look obvious in hindsight. Wink

I hope I can stick around in this community, it seems like a cool place. As long as my Internet connection works, I guess I will! Thankfully some people still generously run unsecured home wifi, and yes, I've checked and its deliberate. I can't get halfway decent Internet at my own place, it's a nightmare.

Don't mind me if I'm asking stupid questions.
It looks like it's the in thing to post your address, so mine's 13gWbKbeeG75MhasvG9auEZYXUWzruhRsC
Feel free to PM me if you want a chat about one of my posts, or just in general!

I built a gaming computer and as a side benefit realized that I could mine coin. My card is a radeon 7970 and in 2 weeks I've made 2 coins, so it's like a little rebate. I know that I've joined too late to get any serious coin.
