I'm very experienced with bitcoin and want to enter the contest. Personally, I think it's really unfair/ off putting forcing new people to post on this forum. If you're trying to grow bitcoin, having a super restrictive forum is sending a terrible message.

Hi all, first post I first learned about Bitcoin when it was in the $2-3 range, but didn't buy any. Doh! Finally decided to get in to both speculation and mining (because the ASIC's look like they are starting to come online finally) Questions/wonderings: If anyone reading this is from Australia: is there any kind of Bitcoin community/meetups that you know of? Am I a dope for getting in at $16?

I'm a bitcoin enthusiast and soon to release an online accounting software that accepts bitcoin as payment (though the accounting software itself currently wouldn't support bitcoin since it rounds everything to 2 decimals. this could change in the future).
Peace out.

Hello Been watching bitcoins for the past 6 months or so and just finally started mining on my not so efficient gtx 680. Will be looking to invest in something a tad better but in the mean time have purchased some bitcoins and never actually started reading the forums until the past couple hours. Interesting stuffs, glad to be part of the community though.

Hello fellow BitCoiners, My name is Jon I have been aware of BTC for a long time now, but recently I have become very interested in it. I've decided to register here as this forum contains a wealth of information that has helped me immeasurably over the last few weeks, and I'm keen to join the conversation. I'm very excited by BTCs' future prospects and keen to support the project however I can.. ..On a side-note I obtained my first BTC last night (0.97!) which I managed to convert from some long-forgotten LR USD. No doubt you'll be pleased to hear that I helped the BTC economy, by quickly tripling, and then losing my money at Bitzino Moral of the story: Gambling is bad! (Good fun though ) Look forward to getting to know people in due course. Cheers,

Hi all. been mining for a few days on a nVidia GPU. Excited to see if ASICs are more than vaporware and make a move in that direction. One week on my video card has yielded about 0.15 BTC LOL. Still, $2.50 of free money is better than nothing.
