Hello,

I'm not batman but recently heard of Bitcoin by accident in the comments section of an economic blog. So I started googling it. Well, startpage-ing it.

Very interested to see where this will go. Tried a bit of mining with my GPU, purchased a few coins and such but I haven't sent for a pair of Alpaca socks yet. :-)

Cheers.

So, is this basically a dump thread, where newbies are welcome to say nonsense just to get up to the silly 5 post threshold, or somesuch?

I don't know, man. This forum confuses me. :<

Hello all,

I'm pikeadz.  I am mostly on reddit /r/bitcoin under the same name.  I started a spreadsheet as sort of a easy way to contact companies and recruit them to bitcoin.  Now I just need to accumulate 5 posts so I can post it here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=144191.0

I am going to start adding those suggestions to the spreadsheet tonight.  Anyway, nice to meet you all!  Here is the spreadsheet:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0ArZ3BWIAbHXndFdrdEc0VlhoODZYdlNGTFdZdEFJM1E#gid=0

Feel free to pm me here or on reddit if you can think of any others!

I'm logic.

I started mining with a cheap $40 GPU last year once I first heard about bitcoin.  Was interested and thought it was cool.  Left it alone and stopped mining to play video games instead.  Got a decent 6950 for video games and started playing PC games only again for the first time in over a decade.  Then during January of this year, a buddy of mine asked me about bitcoins at a party one night, so my brain turned back on.

I spent some money, built a rig w/ 3 5830s and have it running in the closet.  Once it was running and stable, I then looked around the internet, found this forum, found out about ASICs, pre-ordered a BFL product.  And basically im still reading stuff about bitcoin as much as possible and trying my hardest not to spend more money on a better rig or on any other products available for pre-order.  Everyday it gets harder and harder to not through money at hardware.

I think snare rolls should be used as a currency.
