I've an application and web developer with a great interest in Bitcoin. I'm really hoping to price stabilises as incentive for more merchants to accept it, although personally the perceived value of Bitcoin doesn't bother me too much providing it never reaches zero.

So far, I've developed several Bitcoin applications and integrations, though the only one I've sent live is my BitPay integration into SomethingGeeky.com.

With the huge increase in interest Bitcoin has got recently, I wonder how many people are legitimately here just to 'get rich quick'.

Hello, I'm ZeroDelocke.

I am new to mining and have only been running my LTC mining rig for about two weeks.

Running 2x7950's at about 510 each with GUI Miner from:

Hey all, I've been a lurker for a while but recently signed up to get into the LTC game. Been mining on ltcmine.ru for a while and it's nothing but smooth sailing.  Smiley

Newbie to the forum here, but not a newbie to BitCoin. First BTC600 I mined were on a single-core AMD back in early 2010 (there weren't even any exchanges back then). Sadly, all of those are gone, but until recently BTC wasn't really worth anything, so they were flying out. Who would've known, right? It was just an interesting project back then.

Anyway, just another post to pass my newbie status  Smiley

Well I have been tinkering now for about a week. I was getting a high "apparent" hashrate because I was actually sending bad answers back to the server.

Apparently although the server was discarding them [and not counting toward my earnings] - the sites hashrate for me still included them.

The problem was I hacked together something and was mining with the wrong algorythm. Can also happen if your settings are just way wrong for your card.

Thanks!
