Probably we can't see bitcoin as international currency because none of the government would accept other currency as international all will want their own currency as international currency. May be it would be used world wide by almost 6to 80% if the population but it won't get international cucurrency status.
i think if the users of bitcoin will continuously increasing then they will put pressure on government and they will have no other option except to accept bitcoin as legal currency, and hope that then bitcoin will become an international currency of the world.
No, bitcoin was becoming global currencies now. The government won't open the door for bitcoin. And they choose for making own crypto which means it's becoming clear result for bitcoin wasn't getting permission from a government.

Never i guess, Bitcoins was already making noise in virtual world, but the government still don't want to recognise bitcoin even for an international Digital Currency. I don't understand why the government keeps on ignoring bitcoins, bitcoin can help our economic. The government still keep their door close on bitcoins. Bitcoins are still banned on some countries.

It already has gone international. Many countries are already using bitcoin, but there are still a fair few which are not. The masses are also not accepting bitcoin easily for their daily usage. I'd say BTC is an international currency, but it still hasnt gained its mass importance.

I am not agree. I think bitcoin is international currency already. What do we think when we hear word "international"? For me this means that this something is used in many countries sucessfully. Like Facebook. Bitcoin is popular over the world and that is only it's plus that governments can't control it today.

People use bitcoin internationally in order to meet their needs. I don't  believe that someone is interested about the name of the currency. Anyway it is impossible traditionally global strong economies to accept another currency, even though is digital, as a replacement of their own currency. For financially weak countries this matters a little

Oh people, I am dissapointed, why most of you says that bitcoin isn't international currency? Than while you say this, also write what it needa to be international. I think it's already international while people are using it from all over the world. Also problem that was once about bitcoin's bannig, is solved and nearly all country accept it, also it's first cryptocurrency and check wikipedia, here is written that bitcoin is worldwide.

maybe we may not see bitcoin as international currency because not all people know about it or not all use it, and not all acknowledged it. but as you can see man, we can already consider it as n international currency for we can purchase from any part of the world as long as that certain store accepts bitcoin.

That is certainly true. But it also has the possibility of bitcoin can become international currencies. because it is a system that is given also suffice better than banks, even if from a security point of view the bank did better. All this also depends on how the level of technology that will be created for the future, or perhaps a bitcoin is a currency that becomes the Activator to create an innovation in technology to make better currency

It is still too early for Bitcoin to be used by a large portion of the population. The currency has been here for less than a decade, while most other currencies have been in circulation for centuries. In the future Bitcoin will certainly be an internationally recognized currency, but this takes time.

I think that it will never happen because BTC is an alternative currency. Alternative to what? Fiat. In my opinion, the current fiat international currency is USD because people accept it all around the globe. Even in Russian or China. Not counting the many online payment processors that you can do international transactions with and which processors always have USD as option. But BTC is an international ALTERNATIVE currency, which it already is  Wink

Not all countries have accepted bitcoin.but many of them have. And that is enough, yi think bitcoin is already international currency, it's used almost on.every continent. To be accepted by whole world maybe isn't possible but that doesn't make it less international. It has entered into worlds's economy, that is huge achievement.

I think it is already an international currency because it's being used in more than 120 countries currently which is not a small number in terms of usage and adoption both. As these countries' governments come together and start giving bitcoins a green signal, then I think there is nothing which can stop bitcoins from succeeding.

currently it look hard to accept that bitcoin is going to become an international currency, but i think bitcoin popularity is rapidly increasing and very soon a time will come when all the people of the world will start using it in all the countries of the world.

It's only going to serve a niche rather than replacing other currencies. It can have a place in the world economy as a way to store money for savings or investment or to send money around the world or to make purchases. I think is can be used along with fiat currencies.

I agree with you could see bitcoin users already spread all over the world, almost every country may have bitcoin users, it means bitcoin can be used in all countries, and it proves that bitcoin is an international currency

As mentioned bitcoin from the day of existence had served as a international currency with its transaction taking place crossing borders with the reduced processes and transaction fees. Only thing is that it is not regulated by countries because of decentralized system. Now on experimenting countries have been making plans to regulate within countries. Such move help bitcoin to be announced as international currency.

Yes bitcoin is an international currency but not on the ground level. People around the world can send and receive bitcoins but the overall percentage of bitcoin users compared to the fund transfer industry (including paypal + wire + cash etc) is very low. We must create awareness among friends and family to use bitcoin. We can safely say bitcoin is international currency on ground level too when there will be significant amount of users around the world.
