Like it might take a lot of time. It might take more than 100 of years Even there is a possibility that it might become An international currency in 10 years. Like many new firms accept bitcoin Starbucks and steam Even g2a now and many more. So if this continues then the success is not far away

Bitcoin is already an international currency but with a twist. Bitcoin is not controlled by anyone or can be generated by a mining program. These characteristics of bitcoin don't match with traditional currencies. That is the reason why bitcoin is not widely accepted by governments of many countries.
However, bitcoin has changed the course of internet payment systems with a market cap of 14 billion USD. So bitcoin is an international internet currency. Because without internet, people won't be able to use bitcoin in any way.

Currently Bitcoin has been International currency many people round the world use Bitcoin as payment, but International i can say is International community, Bitcoin has solid community, people who use Bitcoin because they interest with Bitcoin they see a potential of Bitcoin, they look Bitcoin not only a currencies but also investment, knowledge and technology.
What if the problem like my country ? My goverment still not legalize bitcoin until now since they see bitcoin will bring negative impact for my people ( money laundry for example ) To be an international currency ,it's not easy for bitcoin, IMO The same is with most other countries too, very few countries have partially legalized bitcoin. It depends upon the people of the country whether it bring good deeds or bad. One country's currency cannot be used in the country next to it, but bitcoin can be used everywhere with the same value. This has confirmed bitcoin to be a international currency. I think that many countries do not even have a regulation regarding Bitcoin. If they did, they would make it easier for citizens living in those countries to know the currency, and if people realize the potential there is, the investments and the use of it would certainly increase. I remember it took a good while for the United States to recognize Bitcoin as a currency, as such recognition would only bring more credit to Bitcoin.

All must be a process, can not be instantly granted, need a long time, let alone still many people who are still not familiar with and know about Bitcoin was what and how to use them. But now the world begin to take into Bitcoin, see each year and how Bitcoin can be a means of payment in some services that previously did not receive and that is very good news and I am optimistic Bitcoin will be accepted as the others as a means of payment authorized and recognized large.

I'm guessing in the next 5 to 10 years, if it goes good as now. I know many will start complain about it but if something like that happens it will be perfect, easier and more useful than fiat money.

We cant state how many years it would take and the possibility is low because Bitcoin has a limited volume and fiat does not I dont know any economics about it but I think it would be 1/10 bitcoin will be a international currency aside from dollar who is reigning now as a universal currency to all country when trading.

When one country decides to use only bitcoin as a main currency. When big websites disables $ and euro payment and allows only Bitcoin. Now most people don't have a need for bitcoin, it has to be forced on them without any other payment option.

for the current bitcoin probably can not become an international currency, because there are still some countries that oppose bitcoin. however, when they are aware of the potential of the bitcoin as a means of transaction, most likely, they will start accepting bitcoin. I do not know when it will happen, but maybe bitcoin, it's got potential

I think it will be legalised as international currency when the fluctuating value become stable then no one would see loss in BTC hen the government word realise that it is not something illegal n international market would start accepting payment in but coins ms of the merchants not take payment in bitcoins as they are pressured by government and they think about their loss it is an international currency but not accepted worldwide , by every government

Bitcoin to me will only become international currency only until when world governments can make a push for it. Like USA in the West or Russia, China etc but that will not happen until they are able to break through the blockchain technology and be able to get their own cut in terms of revenue that will accrue to them. Aside that, being international currency will be a wish that will continue to operate under the radar.

Bitcoin is already an international currency since you can do most of the things you can do with currency all over the world, what we are lacking is a bigger user base so we could use it in our everyday lives.

I don't think US will give up there dominance in terms of international currency because of bitcoin until they know how to control bitcoin then there is the time where we can have Bitcoin as a international currency. China still figuring out how to make their currency be on top but still finding it hard to implement it and surely it will not happen.

Well, maybe you're right. bitcoin has become an international currency when everybody started looking on the internet bitcoin. however, there are still some countries that can not use bitcoin, or have not recognized it as a currency because the price is not stable. but, I believe, one day they will admit it.

Bitcoin is already an International currency. Though it is not recognized by Bank or governments, Bitcoin already occupies its place as one of the most used currencies for international transactions

Bitcoin could leave the traces while using direct fiat will hardly be traced. The problem above shouldn't be a problem because in my opinion bitcoin is more transparent than the fiat itself, hence the reason is invalid for the government, though there's still other negative impacts that make bitcoin struggling to be recognised by the government.

it's not just adoption that needs to expand, but the protocol needs to evolve drastically to handle the traffic and increase the user-friendliness issues with Bitcoin. The congestion is a mess at times already; and using a bitcoin wallet is not as intuitive as using a bank card/ check book. Bitcoin needs to be a bit better, so to say, in order to be a world class currency.

Bitcoin is already an international currency, but only the number of users is still very very low. In addition, as it requires some kind of connectivity (to assess the ledger and to transmit the transactions), it is not being used in your day-to-day groceries.
Give us another 10 years!
Yeah today, bitcoin is already now international currency in the world of internet but only few people knows about bitcoin. Yet, it can only use for online transaction and online store. You can use bitcoin if you have access in internet. Bitcoin is international currency because you can use it as for payment all over the world.
