I've read this last night.. and I thought of testing it out.
How does the staking features? How much coins does it needs to stake? In which platform the staking features will it be available?

500 coins should be enough and should already stake.
500 coins would be enough any info if how much coin would be rewarded? thanks dev.

So last night, I downloaded the wallet and tried to put some coin. The transfer was super fast. I got 11 confirmations in less than a minute. Then I slept at 1am, expecting to see a staking wallet when I wake up. Well it happened, with a big surprise!!

I've seen the transferred PSBs are matured and ready to give me rewards in the next 21days or sooner if the network weight drops.

It's very funny that after seeing my weight I thought of Vegeta.

-snip-

Yes.. Not 500!  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

I was about to move my amount from poswallet to c-cex when I see that it has a "staking" note on its right-most side. Two question.

First, I never played a coin this new like this, so I never had any experience, but doing a simple google I got that we can say that staking means we let our coin sits for a while and gain certain amount after several time, right?

Second, will I be still staking if I move my coin to c-cex? Will there be any difference with if I keep it on poswallet or put it on any other wallet? (oh, that's three question)

Supposedly, in-site wallets in C-cex should be 'cold' wallets and should not stake... Stake 'harvesting' in C-cex should not happen just like with other POS coins before otherwise, the reward stakes from the non-moving sell orders may be the free PSB coins for C-cex  Grin

Yup... Personally, Qt/Windows wallets would be the best option for now while we wait for the staking feature of the online wallet to be activated...

They will enable the staking on the online wallet of PSB soon so just wait for further announcement. Or you can keep your PSB on your desktop or laptop so you can start staking.

I dont know which one you are referring about the staking:
To all desktop wallets, staking is already working. On poswallet.com, staking is also working.
For the official online wallet of PSB, the staking feature is not enabled yet, so as I have said wait for further news.

If Lutzow get Manny Pacquiao to endorse, I'm sure the project will get a lot of traction  Grin Grin
Good luck, you're not likely to get any politician to openly or publicly endorse any coin. There once was a move about a year or two ago ... not much happened except there was a bill. Let me look for it, maybe you can try contacting that particular representative (congress I think.)

Quote
Representative Kimi Cojuangco, a member of the Filipino House of Representatives, is pushing for an “e-Peso,” the Phil Star reports. House Bill 4914 would create the “e-Peso” as an online medium of exchange for Filipinos. The proposed bill would have the Filipino Central Bank research Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies and decide what the best course of action would be. The e-Peso would be officially granted electronic legal tender status, according to Cojuangco: What exists is a patchwork of methods using traditional credit systems, which act in place of money on the Internet. The E-peso is the electronic equivalent to the paper peso.

This was in 2014.

E-peso were pushed to get on the news because e-peso was developed to make a business. Compared with this PSB project, I believe this one is different. I agree, to cryptodv, maybe a world known icon like manny(but not because he is a senator now) could help this project on its promotions not only in the Philippines but worldwide. I would love to see Manny or the Black Eyed Peas on PSB ads in the future. I believe APL will support this project because he likes helping his "Kababayans".. Just imagine, black eyed peas singing a jingle for PSB advertisement.

Anyways.. I understand that advertising campaigns for PSB is not yet a priority... I'm just saying, Manny or APL and the Black Eyed Peas' name could bring PSB to the moon.. And everybody will be happy..

But of course, first things first. Devs should deliver their promises first before we get over excite ourselves.

@moncorp - epeso is a digital currency with no public blockchain available and transactions are quite expensive as well and of course centralized. So Pesobit and ePeso is very much different. And yes, better focus on the roadmap as that is the main goal anyway.

Any of you have long experience using Coinomi? Is Pesobit a good addition to Coinomi? Let me know your thoughts. For those who haven't used them, you can visit https://coinomi.com

Brothers downloaded the psb wallet after downloading blockchains the wallet said (out of sync), restarted but it remains the same.

It took me less than half an hour to finish the sync.

When I first started my wallet, I noticed the same problem too, I only had 1 active connection.

The wallet wont sync immediately, or will stop syncing. Check the connection if there are active connections.

What I did was,.. I just closed the wallet and start it again, then I got 8connections. As of now I'm seeing 10.

We just won the voting round at C-Cex. Just need to await for their confirmation as to when exactly will Pesobit be available there.
Congrats everyone and Thanks for those who joined me yesterday and collected 1200+ votes that caused us having 2100+ votes total. Although it seems to be too much (last week the winner had 2000 votes), it just basically shows how much support we have from the community Smiley

Online Staking is already in the works and will be announced in the coming days.

Wow - I leave for just one day, then there is tons of good news to catch up with! With C-Cex we are gradually climbing the ladder in terms of exchange size; although the problem with this one is we really have to maintain volume or they will delist PSB.

I don't think this will be a problem for PSB, however...
