As for me, bitcoin always has a competition. Other crypto-currencies like Ethereum are growing rapidly and are becoming very popular due to ICO. Bitcoin is simply more famous, but if another krypto-currency has good advertising and investment, it can easily become a competitor to Bitcoin.

There is no business without competition so there are competitors in bitcoin but the fact still remains no other coin can beat bitcoin its the best and will always remain the no other coin can stand it there are competitors in the game

At present I think that there is no competitors for Bitcoin since it is been more popular Bitcoin can be said to be the king of all cryptocurrency in the global system . Due to the privacy and security reasons Bitcoin has gained more popularity.Bitcoin has a very great potential and investing in it does not have any fears. Bitcoin is at the forefront of cryptocurrency no doubt and there is no contesting the fact. However, the tendency of the upscaling of the altcoins is a direct indicator that the profitability and volume of these coins is circulation no doubt helps in stabilising the crypto market and equally increase the holding profitability and assets of the coins is quite commendable. But to say that the bitcoin has no competitor is not entirely true.

Of course Bitcoin has rivals, there are a lot of altcoins that offer some advantages that Bitcoin does not have, such as cheap transaction fees and a short time to process transactions, but bitcoin is still the top choice, so I can say for now and future bitcoin is not rivaled by altcoin any.

even I don't really understand if bitcoin doesn't have competition. isn't another altcoin also wanting to be at the forefront like bitcoin today?
 we know that bitcoin leads among other coins. I think competition will still be there, even though it is not clearly seen in the race.

I can agree with you on that fact that it is an easiest way to prove that somebody were wrong just to wait until the time will show that. So I can agree that bitcoin is still not having a serious reasonable competitor to it.

For now there are no other coins that can match the capabilities possessed by Bitcoin, we know that bitcoin has proven maximization in its investment value but we need to pay attention to the progression of time when Bitcoin conditions are very worrying at this time. We need to take action for future improvements for the sake of the integrity of Bitcoin until the end of time. the thing that I really fear is not the competition with coins that will become a rival but still exist or not in the next 10 years.

Couldn't agree less the technology behind Bitcoin is really cool and the Devs never stops working to keep Bitcoin at the epoch in the cryptospace, currently Bitcoin has no competitor although can't say for the future because a lot of project are coming up everyday and some of them are very good innovations.

Exactly. It will interest you to note that after this thread is a topic to say bitcoin is dead, and such poster would continue to invest heavily into it. No competition and no death on the horizon for it.

Truly there is no strong competition for Bitcoin in this space. It probably won't be dethroned as I dont see any other coin that can displace it because it leads the way for others.  Even if its dominance reduces, it will still be the king.

It has no competition?  Maybe for now. Other coins are jostling to be at the front too, just that bitcoin is going to hold that mace for long. Anything could happen and another coin overtakes it. What if any of these 1st world country launches their own coin and it booms.

I don't think that Bitcoin has no competitor.Ethereum is the number 1 competitor of bitcoin and this coin also a promising and profitable.

100% Agree with you..there will be more and more coins and tokens but king will be king and he is only fucking BITCOIN..
