Someone purchased 1 million shares very recently:
AMC 20,000,000 AMC 14,009,057 ---------------- AMC 1,000,000 AMC 615,856 AMC 338,000 AMC 214,724 AMC 200,000 AMC 187,402 AMC 149,919 AMC 147,591 AMC 120,500 AMC 108,374
Must have been a private sale, or Ken is moving shares around (which I doubt). Avalons are beginning to look like peanuts.
Interesting.
Jeez, I am just wondering at what price he bought those shares at. It still amazes me how much BTC people have. He has stated that any and all sales of shares after the original 5mil will be at no less than .0008 I'm very interested to know what is going on here. All share sales, you would think would be public and viewable on bitfunder. This is ~ $80,000 US worth of shares.

I'm curious to know if anyone's seen any sign anyone getting an order of avalon chips. AMC has what...two or three orders in the que right? The news on the chips shipping will be immensely more exciting to me than the avalons...not that I don't like the avalons.

when are you going to pay the dividend and how much do you think It will be
approx 7*7.5/100000000 ~ 52 satoshi per share Isn't that divided by 40,000,000 until the first shares are paid 0.0005 per share in divs?

I'd like to thank eduffield and the other developers for this critically important evolution in virtual currency. DarkCoin is what bitcoin should have been. Some might call it "Bitcoin 2.0" but would do better by saying: "DarkCoin is digital cash." - Child Harold - February 28, 2014 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=421615.msg5424980#msg5424980

Depends on when Ken decides to pay the first div' ultimately. This is also the very first div' payment with just three avalons hashing. As I said earlier, I'm very interested to see what happens when the first chips ship.

Ken, could you confirm that the 15.000.000 unsold early-adopters shares are also getting dividends paid ?
I mean, it's quite clear that the 5M early-adopter + 20M growth & expansion should get dividends, but what about the 15M shares left ?

It looks like it's 14 Mil now as a mystery 1mil shares was sold or transferred, Ken hasn't responded about it yet.

Dividends from unsold shares also go into the growth/expansion fund. Read the contract, its stated there.

They were sold.
Lewicki, you shouldn't state things like that unless you know it to be true. They couldn't possibly have been sold through bitfunder as there isn't near that much liquidity. If it had, the price would have skyrocketed. Obviously, since those shares are now back in Ken's "pool" of shares, they weren't sold. Though I'm still very interested to know what is going on. I'm not trying to say that anything nefarious is afoot. I'm just wondering what is happening as the 'plan' has been stated by Ken as being to sell remaining shares (all 15mil) at .0008 or higher. This was a concession to the shareholders that bought before Ken was forced to sell shares at .0005. We are all easily spooked due to past manipulation and I just feel that a little transparency will go a long way to allay those fears.

They were sold.
Lewicki, you shouldn't state things like that unless you know it to be true. Straight from the horses mouth: [00:21] <lewicki> Those 1 million shares, were they purchased, or are you moving things around? [06:14] <AMC___> Selling a few more They couldn't possibly have been sold through bitfunder as there isn't near that much liquidity
If someone has 80 grand and AMC has 1 million shares to spare, there is no illiquidity. There is illiquidity however when there are no shares to buy on the market. Therefore large share buys happen all the time without a MM or trading platform (especially when there is not much liquidity), they are a private contract between the issuer and buyer. Obviously shares were traded "off the books" in this case well. The shares DID change hands - regardless if whether or not they went back to the same account. To prove my point: A buyer could have sent BTC to AMC, then AMC could have transfered the shares to his account via https://bitfunder.com/transferWhat I interpreted "Selling a few more" as "yes, i sold 1 million shares" was incorrect.

It was my assumption that there weren't any 'off the books' trades. If all trades don't go through the market then the spot price is pointless. Why would someone purchase shares for .00083 on bitfunder if they can make a deal on the side with Ken. If this is truly going on, that's bullshit.
That being said, I'm not convinced that's what is going on. If it was, then why did the shares end back up in Ken's account.
I personally hold ~46k shares so I have more than a small interest in making sure that this company is being run in a straightforward and honest manor. I don't think it's too much to ask for an explanation from Ken.

As a side note, anyone can sell anyone any amount of shares, of any asset, at any price, on BitFunder: https://bitfunder.com/transfer
