Y'know... I wonder if this thread is for anything other than the amusement of the mods... It's not like 5 messages is that difficult.... If anything, the 4 hours of forum time is more difficult to blow through.... grnbrg.

A couple of posts after this and this whitelist request may not matter, but I'd just as soon not spam the newbie board - even if that is what it's for.
I've been mining since 6/2011. I currently have 6 GPUs and 2 BFL Singles and run bfgminer.

Aloha, I have been using bitcoins on reddit and in exchange for other things for about a year now. I don't visit the forum often because I don't really need to. Recently though I found a thread on here with some great open source art and I made some improvements that I wanted to share with the people on said thread... I can't post those revisions with out access. So pretty please let me out of here. Edit: Found the thread I wanted to post to https://bitcointalk.org/?topic=1756.0I can vouche for her she is real and needs to be let loose! Hello,
I would like to request to by pass the waiting period. I'm somewhat familiar with how digital currency works. I have been mining and lurking. Just signed up because I've run into some issues recently and am looking for some thoughts.
I know a bit of the lingo and I currently mine btc and ltc.

Hey,
Can i please be let into the forums I've been reading posts for months now not knowing why I couldn't post, but now the itch is too much and I can't be bothered with this newb section.
I have been researching btc for over a year now (6 months whilst without work, so very intensively too). I have a BFL miner on order (don't judge me lol) and another from Multiverse (for a couple of btc why not - if it turns up I can let you all know they're legit too!)
I have 2 wallets, one physical only. I dabble on bets of bitcoin. My twitter feed on my phone is generally about 50% btc related posts and about 50% is posts from this forum.. a lot of which I would love to interact with more!!
Anything else?
love
rupert

May not have the minimum posts but I do not feel the desire to spam this section with needless posts.
Been investing small portion of my earnings in Btc since 2011, have come on here now that I have accumulated a fair amount of coins in hopes for information.
I am planning on setting up a Canadian "exchange" similar to Canadian Bitcoins but with fair buy/sell prices. Also hoping to incorporate other methods of payment with time.
Reason I finally decided to sign up to this site after years of lurking is I'm in need of information regarding any current scripts for posting up to date exchange rates on the site, as well as any pointers in regards to how to set up transactions via the site. So I do not have to organize each order manually and order information/details can be sent to the purchaser/seller without me having to do it all manually via the site.
Hopefully this is enough, look forward to posting on here!

I have more than five post and spent A LOT more than four hours online here reading but I still cannot post in the thread about the Berlin Bitcoin Conference 2013 to offer my help on organizing it. Can anybody tell me why that is? Also I sent two PMs so far but they don't show up in my outbox and there doesn't seem to be a " sent" folder. Is this the way it's supposed to be or did my PMs get swallowed by the system somehow?

Quick intro.. Used to run a small 10GH mining operation us until about a year ago... I also traded btc/USD in IRC and on Mtgox. I ended up shutting down the mining operation when the pool I was in shutdown as they didn't have time to implement the p2sh changes. Since I had been running the rigs at loss for a number of months, due to high hosting and electricity costs, I used the pool shutting down as the prod I needed to mothball my miners. (Oh such a mistake in hindsight.)
I'm looking to get approved so I can post on the securities forums, and bid on securities auctions. I also have a premium two-letter dotcom domain that I want to gauge interest in someone buying with btc.

A quick whitelisting would be appreciated. I would like to be able to respond to some allegations as to my asset listing (Biz27B-6) on BitFunder.

Hello,
the reason that I want to be able to post before getting 5 posts and being online for 4 hours is because I have a serious question about the Bitcoin wallet.
I have bought some bitcoins 2 years ago, but in the meanwhile my wallet is deleted (by myself, by accident) from my Mac. Mtgox.com told me to go to this website because this is the place where technical experts could be able to help me (to recover my wallet).
If you can upgrade my account I would be very glad and post my problem at 'technical support'.
Thank you in advance.

i would also like to bypass the 5 post requirement...i'm sure i've long surpassed the 4-hour requirement. i've been registered for quite some time, but never had the desire to post until recently.
Konsel, if you deleted your wallet.dat file, your wallet is gone, unless you can recover that file. there are many software-based undelete programs available, but they only go so far. the longer the file has been deleted, the less likely it is that you will be able to recover it. however, if you have a significant value of bitcoins in that file, there are forensic experts that specialize in data recovery. i have no idea how much that would cost, but it would be a lot, but if you have a million dollars worth of bitcoins in your wallet then that might be worth it!

Yes.....I'm a serious grown up person who would like to respond to Burnside another member of this forum. I already posted some factual information here about dummy plugs that will help people out. I like helping people out that's the type of guy I am.

whitelist please.
I've been mining BTC since last july and have a little single on order from BFL. I recently stopped mining BTC as it is no longer profitable to GPU mine at my power cost. I'm switching between LTC, TRC and PPC depending on which has the best profitability as listed on dustcoin.

Multipool - Always mine the most profitable coin - Scrypt, X11 or SHA-256!

If you have a need to be allowed into the forum beyond before you have completed the required 5 posts and 4 hours logged in, please post your request here. You must provide evidence that shows that you either understand more about Bitcoin than the average newbie, or that what you want to post can only be done in another forum. Reasons such as "I'm not a spammer" will be ignored. Try to be as specific as possible.
If you learned of Bitcoin through a currently established member of this forum who feels that you are ready to be released to the rest of the forum or who is willing to mentor you, or if you want to make a new account that is separate from your already-existing established forum account, have the existing user/account vouch for you after you have made your request.
If you are asking to be whitelisted because you are having a problem with something, we generally look more favorably on people who have already attempted to solve their issue in the Newbie board. Even if you end up not qualifying for preemptive whitelisting, your post might still qualify for being moved to another board if you have received insufficient help after a few hours.
Also: - You must have made one post in order to send PMs. - You need 10 posts to put a link in your signature.
Please note: If you see "Jr. Member" by your name, you have already met the 5 posts and 4 hour requirements and don't need to post here. Additionally, after you meet the requirements, it can take up to 10 minutes for your account to be automatically upgraded.

Hi guys, I started reading about bitcoins about a month ago and am now doing mining since 2 days. I am also an active member of about 3 forums (under the same name) so I know my way around and don't spam. I would ruin my username. I need to be out of here because I have installed the Peerbet Android app to beta test it. I have found a bug and would like to write it in the thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=144066.0Thanks, Maverik5124
