I would like to request to be whitelisted. I am well known in the Bitcoin community-my Twitter handle is @BitcoinByte and my website/blog is
www.bitcoinbyte.com

One of my defining Bitcoin posts (yesterday) has been re-tweeted many times.
You can also google me on
"Michael Bitcoin"

Kind regards

He bought it from me. I can vouch for PEMDAS. He is definitely not a newbie. Please whitelist him.

Hey!

i would like to be whitelisted too, ive been signed up quite a bit now and wanted to get access to the main forums so I can chat with others on starting a business. I have also already purchased a ton of bitcoins from TangibleCryptography as well so they can vouch for me. I'm looking forward to helping grow this industry!

Hey I'm a newbie to the forums but not to BTC. I'm a frequent trader in #bitcoin-otc, and I really would like to be able to post at the moment as I'm working on the ziggap.com site and would like to comment right now on the current bounty thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=134386.0

Hello there,

While I am new to these forums, I've lurked them for years. I'm regularly found on sealswithclubs, have contributed to a few bitcoin projects on github (https://github.com/bbqsamich), and am always doing my best to promote bitcoin on google+ (I'm part of the largest bitcoin community there as well), feel free to look me up on there.

I finally got an account and would like to be whitelisted so that I can post into the ASIC.COOP claims thread. As far as I know that is the only place I can speak with the maintainer of the stock (as was expressed in his/her email to me). I've replied via email without respose for a few days now, but I believe the email came from an anonymous no-reply box. Regardless of your decision, I'll continue to lurk around and, now that I have an account, contribute to the discussions where I can. I thank you for you time and consideration.

Hello,

Even though I am relatively new to bitcoin (started trading 3 months ago) I've come a long way.

I trade at Bitfloor and as an example of my understanding of bitcoin I would direct you to my web-based automatic trading application that I am currently developing.

Please go to http://BTC4me.com to check it out.

I feel like I do have a lot to offer beyond the newbie forums. I hope you agree.

Thanks,
Jay

If you have a need to be allowed into the forum beyond before you have completed the required 5 posts and 4 hours logged in, please post your request here. You must provide evidence that shows that you either understand more about Bitcoin than the average newbie,

Well, it'd be nice, and I think I understand bitcoin more than the average newbie (even though I'm probably asking a stupid question on the thread I started here in the newbie forum).  But I can wait. Smiley  Four hours is not that long, and this is my fifth post (which is why I'm making it).

I've dug through the bitcoin client source code and the code for bitcoinj.  I'm particularly intrigued in how the nodes in the network peer with each other, locating seed nodes through DNS lookups (formerly through IRC - I didn't understand that IRC wasn't used anymore until I did some heavy reading).  I don't quite get yet how the blocks in the chain are exchanged, but I'm hoping to figure that out soon.  I'd like to try my hand at implementing a bitcoin-like mockup prototype some time soon, not compatible with bitcoin, but basically working my way through the concepts in the whitepaper.

I get a kick out of bitcoinj's generate node function, with a comment stating that of course you could never use this for real mining.  It's still educational. Smiley

I'm really interested in further browsing and posting in the forums. I'm trying to buy a few BTC, but it seems I can't post in that section because I have to wait 4 hours and have 5 posts. I know a lot more than the average newbie, I've gotten the 5 postcount by giving my input in the newbie sections about controversial topics, and I've posted in a few people asking about the trading business giving them proper trading practices to follow, to ensure they don't get scammed. I know all the basics of BTC's from researching on and off for the past few months, and I wish I had found this forum earlier because I've been on a few other forums trying to buy BTC's with no luck. Thank you so much for the consideration, I hope to be granted permission to post in the market section Smiley

I would like to be able to post in the thread Bitcoin Forum > Economy > Marketplace > Gambling > Bitcoin Video Poker! 0.005 BTC credits are here! [UPDATED 1/6/2013].

The reason for this is that I have had technical issues with bitcoinvideopoker and it seems that the developer or administrator is fairly active on that site.  Can you please allow me to post in that thread so I can try and resolve the issue.  The problem is that the program is randomly only dealing me 4 card or not dealing me a 5th card after the draw.  This significantly decreases my chances of winning and has cost me probably close to .25 bitcoin.  Thanks for your help so I can try and have this dispute resolved.
