Hi, well firstly I guess I should introduce myself, My name is Jack and I currently own 5BTC and have recently been doing a lot of in depth reading into Bitcoins - This forum has been a great source for knowledge so i decided to sign up. I shall be getting an ASIC asap (just a small one, Jalepeno from BFC if they ever ship) and doing some mining with that.

I dont really want to make 5 'useless' posts in the newbie section as I dont really have any newbie questions to ask (I read about all the basics).

The main reason I want to get let out into the wild is to respond to this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=139694.0 - I have produced some graphic designs for this - but currently cannot post them up.

I wont spam, but I am sure in time I will become an integrated member of the community.

I hope that this message is enough to help me get let loose!...

Thanks!.

I am a bitcoin day trader mostly using bitstamp as I like how the withdrawals and deposits are quick and the website doesn't have a lot of BS. Back in October when I started the price was around $12-13 iirc. I am not a spammer, simply trying to make some dwolla transfers as I also use that website but tend to avoid mtgox. Cheers

I only joined to get pool support (this pool: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=93540.0). I've already posted and gotten access to the PM system so I was able to contact the pool operator but I want to be able to post there regarding pay-out.

hey there, I specifically joined the forum to try and get some assistance with the Mt. Red pool.

I've already sent a PM to redditorrex but I was hoping I might be able to join that thread specifically in case someone else might be able to help out in case redditorrex is too busy.

I love lurking, but I'm not a very active poster, at this forum or any forum. I've been lurking here for a while, and a lot longer on /r/bitcoin. I dont't need to get whitelisted asap, but it would be nice. I don't like the fact that I have to post sevral nonsense posts in this forum just to be allowed in the "big boys" forum.

I'm a poker player, and the main reason I would like to get accept is so I can have access to the gambling forum. Although it's definetly not important, I am certainly not a newbie either.

I would love to be whitelisted so I can post in other forums. My time logged in is less than 2 hours which does not accurately show how much time I've been around reading the forums. I've spent around 12 hours in the forums the past 2 weeks learning a lot from the wonderful posts in this message board. When learning more about bitcoin by doing google searcesh they almost always tend to direct my way here. I hope to some day impart some knowledge just as many others have already helped me.

Can you whitelist me please? I'm trying to reply to this thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=140840.0) because I have the transaction information of Satoshi Roulette paying back this guy.

Hello! I'd like access to post on the normal areas of the forum. I've made my newbie post limit, and also have been logged into the site for almost a full day (and it only shows 2.5 hours on SMF stats), but my limit has not been lifted yet. Thanks to anyone who can help!

I've been involved in bitcoin for over a year and have been reading on bitcointalk for much of that time (first coming to read about the pirate BS this summer).  I finally have some ideas I would like to post and discuss with other bitcoiners (see https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=140786) so I've stopped just lurking.  I have the requisite posts but not the requisite time logged.  I'd like to be able to move this discussion of how to build strong, local, closed-loop bitcoin economies out to the main community.
Thanks for considering!

hi, i would like to be whitelisted! i definitely have been logged in for more than 4 hours (have been browsing all afternoon, in addition to over the past few months) but for some reason it is only registering as 2 hours and 13 minutes. i also read r/bitcoin so while i am not a bitcoin genius, i am probably a bit more knowledgable than a true-blue newbie.

Im going through the 4 hours and 5 posts anyway, but this is an alt account for me. I started it to propose and promote a Bitcoin service idea I came up with.

And by the way, can anyone tell me why rules are so strict here? I may simply underestimate "Scamer" problem, but you can simply forbid making new topics or so. By the moment you register and can do nothing, except posting here... May be it will be better to make invite-based registration instead?
