The local forums are exempt from the restrictions.

It seems like it takes some effort to realize that these rules exist, maybe add a static link in the header or footer instead of a thread?

Nice idea, it's a good way to get rid of all the spammers without them spamming everywhere. Maybe I can use this idea for several other fora which are full of spammers!

Was also wondering where to find reply button. I can't see how this helps prevent spamming.

If it helps keeping the forum clean, I'll gladly spam in the newbies section...

I'm for anti-trolling, but I dont think this is the best way to fight it.

the 50 post rule was good and might have actually helped clean up the other forums. This new policy will do nothing and the other forums are already full of spam.
I disagree, I for example don't post a lot but I've been browsing this forum a lot as a guest. Now I want to participate in a specific topic, or gather information about my ideas I am limited to those 5 posts and 4 hours. If I had to post 50 posts, I would end up leaving, since I'm not a spammer...
