My comments are waiting to be submitted to scrutinization against quality control standards.  Or something.

I thought I was going to jump into the currency exchange area with my shiny, newly minted bitcoin.
Waiting can be healthy though.  Grin

You'd have better luck on one of the exchanges anyway.

"The powers of financial capitalism had another far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent meetings and conferences. The apex of the systems was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world's central banks which were themselves private corporations. Each central bank...sought to dominate its government by its ability to control Treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards in the business world."

- Carroll Quigley, CFR member, mentor to Bill Clinton, from 'Tragedy And Hope'

These newbie restrictions are very annoying. I read this forum for quite a while. Now that I'm really gonna to answer a post I cannot, since I just registered for that purpose.

Why would it not? It is kinda silly but if it works then it's worth it.

I know the reason for the restrictions when the trolls started flooding the forum, but now that it seems to have died down not sure if it needs to continue?  I wanted to purchase something and was unable to get in time because I have only been lurking for a long while.

a bit annoying if you've lurked but never posted before

The really annoying bit is that I had an account from way back when but lost my credentials.

These restrictions seem reasonable.

Well, you figure everyone else had to go through it, why not? It's like initiation, before the real initiation, where the initiated are initiated
