I'm not quite sure if Bitcoin is appropriate for children and teenagers but in terms of explaining how it's functioning it should be easier then to other groups. They are more familiar with new technologies then older generations and they addopt informations easier and faster. But I wouldn't let them into cryptocurrency word before they are 18.

in my opinion it really doesn't matter who you are trying to explain bitcoin to. whether it is a teenager or an adult, a female or a male. you should always stick to the facts when explaining about bitcoin to someone else.
for example i have seen many people say bitcoin will make you rich and all that speculation stuff, this is a very bad idea to introduce bitcoin like this.

Yeah people start believing that they will become rich with bitcoins in a quick time but they forget the fact that its not possible to become rich with it overnight, you need to make great efforts to earn it and if you can manage to have higher amount of bitcoins in your wallet then you can get rich with it in future.

If i will be able to explain bitcoin to my kids in the future i will approach them in a good manner wherein i will tell them that if they need extra money they can start by knowing how Bitcoin works or if they have a small online business i can teach them how to integrate Bitcoin payment into their online payments.

Don't confuse them by introducing bitcoin to them in such a small age where they might don't know much about these things, let them come to know about it when they grow higher, it would be easier for them to understand the technology when they grow higher, don't put them into it right now.

If youre trying to explain bitcoin to someone new, dont jump straight to the blockchain, transactions,etc.. Start with the mining and how its generated, then the price and how easy it is to earn some, also transaction time is also good to start with.
As described by the above mate initially one should not start with blockchain, transactions and all. Its better to start with differentiating bitcoin from other digital currencies that we use in our daily life and start explaining. This gives clear understanding to the people who are willing to be into bitcoin and other digital currency usage and earning.

Yeah and I don't think that this can be the best time for them to get into bitcoins as at this early stage they may find bitcoin complicated and confusing concept and at this age they should be concentrating on their studies instead of knowing bitcoins or getting into money earning stuffs.

How to expain bitcoin to a child/ teenager? It is difficult but if I will have to explain it, it is like studying in school. You have to invest time to learn, you have to explore things, when you want more result, the more time you should take time to study. As per me, I am involving and spending time for me to learn, exploring the amazing things behind bitcoin.

Bitcoin is difficult to explain. I also felt difficulties in understanding bitcoin for the firs time. Let's share how to explain bitcoin to children of teenagers. In My country I can say 98% children don't know bitcoin. In fact, bitcoin can be future money. If the children not familiar with cryptocurrency or bitcoin, how can they face the digital era in the future.
I don't think so. In fact, I really think that teenagers or children can understand Bitcoin much better than older generation. They are born in digital age, with Internet and they are very open for the new technologies, ideas and projects. Also, they learn much faster than elderly people and I really don't think they will need much explanation about Bitcoin. As soon as they see benefits of Bitcoin, they will adapt it. I don't worry about this point at all. Yes, I agree with you. They would understand it as much as they want to. Teenage nowadays was advance when it comes to net surfing and they explore more in internet at an average of 27hours a week, or 4 hours a day (research said). And I think it would be better if they will explore here rather than spending time doing online games.

Its much easier to explain bitcoin to a teenager vs an old person who knows nothing else but fiat. Children are fresh to the world the concept of money is strange.
older people are so resistant to any kind of change and they tend to stick to their old ways of doing stuff. but newer generations which are the children and teenagers are more acceptable towards newer technology and the even like it more.

Yeah, explaining bitcoin to a teenager would be an easy task but doing it to an elder, who even has no idea of what Internet or an iphone is, and to children, who don't have enough knowledge and real life experience to understand bitcoin.

Make them learn the ways they can earn money. Be watchful. Read them on what they are really interested on. Pick that up. Be with them until they are settled with what they are doing. Teach them the ups and downs in the beginning itself so that they control themselves in crossing the limits and not fall into issues which will bring a bad name to the teacher as well the student. Be more encouraging.

no i disagree , when you introduce bitcoin to anyone no matter it's a childern or teenagers or even old people there would be an influence to the people around for example when you introduce to a childern that you can buy a game online easier using bitcoin you don't need a bank accounts or to have an age over 17 etc , then they would start to ask their parents , and the journey to spread bitcoin around your places started.

When you deal with children that means minors, you need to be very careful as with bitcoin they might get into illegal activities and my compromise their future. We know how risky it is online and they can even gamble online although kids are not allowed as because of bitcoin we can hide our real identity. I believe bitcoin is not good for minors.

But it's actually very likely that that 'journey' will stop right in that situation. When he starts asking his parents money for bitcoins, they might think that he's getting scammed by someone on the Internet. Thus, the news about bitcoin will stop there. People will always think that money + internet = scam no matter how much you convince them. Most people are closed minded. You have to show them some actual proofs before they believe you.
