Kids will be kids, it's hard for them to understand bitcoin so it's better to wait at the right time. Don't force to educate at their level.

There are clever kids, not all kids are at the same level of IQ. Sometimes they could even understand what an adult told them. It's not hard to teach a kid as long as they are willing to learn, just don't force them to learn it. As for the teenager, well, they should be taught directly without sugarcoating, since they have experience facing their teacher for a long time even if its boring, I am sure they could earn it easily, again, just don't force/push it if they don't want.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

give them only the knowledge that they can accept like what is bitcoin, giving them some examples, playing for the faucet games, or if they are grown up, we can teach them for another thing of bitcoin. but its depend on how much our kids ages because we can adjust the lesson with their ages so they don't too confusing to accept our explain about bitcoin.

I get what you are trying to explain, but IMO there are things that kids should not learn at their age. Experience is important and kids does not have that, they are to aggressive and if you will look what are the possible things bitcoin can do, it could be risky for them as they might learn how to gamble as it's one of the popular ways to enjoy our bitcoins here.

I want to ask why we need to explain the bitcoin for teenagers?
Because many things and many other fiat currencies are here, that kids don't know about them, because they are teenagers and when they will grow than automatically they will know about all. So same happen in bitcoin. Otherwise i don't think that bitcoin and all other crypto is a teenagers or children's things.

Things could go wrong without adult supervision. A child could go wrong if their mentor teach them the wrong things. If your mentor is your parents, I doubt it if they will teach you wrong things. Gambling? nah, they won't just do that if you are at their back and watching.  But if your way of teaching a child is by giving them first and leaving it to them what to do with bitcoin, then that's the time they will learn what they should not.  Smiley

Teenagers have a really good understanding right now than children would, but I think that in good explanation I think teenagers could have a grip on it because in my opinion anyone that understand how to access the internet, registering his own account and use the computer really good has a very good understanding of things around him and nowadays your children can certainly can learn quick now a days.

I am agree. And I don't really understand the reason why we need to teach kids and teenagers about bitcoin and how to make bitcoins? Let them stay kids longer. But if it's 16-17 years old teen it can be good underworking to make bitcoin in such age. Just to stay away from gambling.

Bitcoin is difficult to explain. I also felt difficulties in understanding bitcoin for the firs time. Let's share how to explain bitcoin to children of teenagers. In My country I can say 98% children don't know bitcoin. In fact, bitcoin can be future money. If the children not familiar with cryptocurrency or bitcoin, how can they face the digital era in the future.

I agree that Bitcoin can be future money and that it's better if your children, or children you care about, knew what it is. I think you should start from the very beginning. First explain how barter-like methods worked. Then explain how many cultures around the world eventually developed the use of commodity money. Then proceed to the use of coins, then to the use of paper money. then to the use of e-money. Finally tell that Bitcoin is a new step further in the development of our world.

yes i am also not in favour of that children and kids should learn about bitcoin, i think they should give attention to their education and not to no need to think about how to earn money.

tell them that bitcoin is currency which is virtual that is u cant see them but u can feel them through ur hard work.u ask them to joina asignature ccampaign as soon as they become a member and enjoy earning bitcoins .
I think they should only learn how to use bitcoin as currency, otherwise they do not need how to invest bitcoin or do trade with it, or to lear other ways of learning bitcoin, as they need to give preference to their study and nothing else. And when they complete their study then they should do real the earning methods of bitcoins.

I don't think this age is the target audience of bitcoin.  The reason is that, this age should be focus in their study.  They should be kept away from any distraction with regards to their study.  Besides, it will be very difficult to teach them about bitcoins.  There are terminology and situation that is more likely this age will never understand.

These time teenagers or young children were very intelligent and acquires knowledge about particular thing if it interest them. Forcing them to learn will result in other spending. One needs to schedule the time to be spent with friends, parents and then for earning, else will lose the joy as they are in an enjoyable age.

Are you saying that back then, teenagers and young children weren't able to understand things even if it interests them? There's no difference at all regardless of age and time. Humans are capable of learning something no matter how old or young are they as long as they're interested in it. Maybe on different levels though.

One needs to schedule the time to be spent with friends, parents and then for earning, else will lose the joy as they are in an enjoyable age.

It's only a matter of time before a teenager realizes that life is already catching up. I used to party/jam with my friends whenever I'm not busy and that's almost every 2 days. I was already doing bitcoins at that time but I wasn't that focused. I realized that I have to earn money for my future, and that my friends and I were just doing the same fun thing over and over again. It's fun, yes, and we need that in life but I think I've grown enough to prioritize earning for my future first before I party.

Teenagers and children nowadays are very close to technology, isn't it shocking that you can see toddlers playing games on tablets,   cellphones and laptops. Meaning they are much easier to learn the basics of anything about internet-related topics, much more bitcoins. The hard part is the money properties of bitcoins. If the principles of investing and how to use as well as invest/make bitcoins grow will be imparted to thise young minds, it will be great. Because that is what is lacking for the older ones today, financial know-how. If the young ones will be taught.and they can grasp the power of bitcoins and apply them on their lives, through their parents that is, imagine the possibilities and potential of them starting on an early age. Proper guidance is the key. And more important gambling is a no-no for kids.

I agree, rather than forcing them to learn and earn bitcoin, why not force them to focus in their study, if they do well on that (like finishing their studies with flying colors), they will earn more than dusts faucet gives them.

That there is a toughie.  Kids these days know every damn thing about computers and whatnot, so's I don't think y'all need that much explainin'.  They intuitive and creative, and especially them kids in Asia.  They'll be explaining it to you 'fore you know it.  Know what I'm saying?

Better bet is to just explain to kids the concept of money, but you all need an economist's degree to do that.

I bet they know depends on their interests.  And am sure kids will have a hard time getting interested with bitcoin.  Ask them about games they always play and sure they know about it but bitcoin is different area, as I said it depends on their interest.

To explain bitcoin to kids or teenagers you must know if they really want to know what it is. If they are interested on how it works, when you discovered it, and why you are using it. It will be pretty easy provided that they want to understand what it is, it's just a matter of time when they ask something about that (knowing if you're a father or a mother that uses bitcoin in a daily basis). Eventually, they would ask that because whatever the parent does, the children will copy.

Yeah that's the first move that we should do. Because even how good is our explanation to them about bitcoins but if they are not really interested to know all the certain things about bitcoin then our effort will be wasted. But I guess the fastest way to explain or show what bitcoin really is by proving it to them is true money.

If you want to explain it to children then, you can try using the picture method. You need to create a picture in their mind about it as currency. How and what you can do with it. Link it to a reward. Ask them to try games or try freebitco.in, collect some satoshi's and trade them will give them a better idea.

To explain to them is actually not the problem because whether we like it or not everybody no matter how small want to be able to earn something and Bitcoin provides that but the issue is how to minimize their exposure in the sense that how do one limit their activities to some sections of the forum especially the gambling category which could quickly have an impact on them and could be catastrophic since they are still young.
