How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children

If the kids know how to earn money easily in early age, it will effect on their education. They lose concentration on their education. And it will impact on your children's future. So better don't introduce them in teenage. After they get matured no need to explain them what is bitcoin they only learn how to make money from Bitcoin through the internet.

The same concern I also have and that is why I will want to exclude children and children to me is up to the age of 18. Anybody after that age, I can that show level of seriousness then I can take my time to teach but the concern is when they are exposed to making some money, the possibility of losing focus is high but at that age over here, one can be held responsible for his or her actions but for me as the teacher, I will put a disclaimer and at the same time set some limits to what I will teach.

That's true, explaining bitcoin to children is hard compared to explaining it to teenager... Mostly teenagers already has needs that probably not so important to parents that they don't permit it or finance it, and bitcoin could be a way to make them earn money for themselves, so while explaining to them how bitcoin works, it is good to accompany it with a certain small jobs that could really excite them...

I think its hard to explain to kids and teenager about bitcoin yes most of them on this forum are student but most of the teenager and kids are playful. The kids plating toys and do not care about this for sure. Teenager also are playful why? Because many of the teenager is addict by playing online games .Teenager is not really open minded about this opportunity those teen that accept bitcoin is open-minded and wants successful life.

My mom never told me what cash is and I still know how to use it. The best way to make a kid understand Bitcoin is to let them use Bitcoin commonly in daily life. Maybe it is not necessary to let a kid use bitcoin on a daily basis. And maybe your mom doesn't want to bother you when it comes to money matters that's why she never told you what cash is and how you are able to use it. Your kid might wanting to invest in bitcoin at early age and might swift his mind to instead of focusing in school he might just want to earn bitcoin. Yes because not all the time things that we are going to teach with ours kids are going to be helpful at all. If that is abused probably a negative result with occur and if they found out that there are some illegal activities and they gamble freely out of their curiosity and that is the consequence that we are talking about for letting them know bitcoin. Just be prepare for the best and worst.

in fact we mostly use bitcoin for investment, therefore for children and teenagers it is not important to learn about bitcoin, because they have no concern with bitcoin, and it can really effect their education, but i think we we start using it as currency, then the children and teenagers will need to learn about it as currency.

I think bitcoin will be hard to explain to children. They don't have any concern regarding this. They mind is still immature to think something like this. As for teenagers, it is good to teach them about bitcoin on their age because they can earn an extra income from this.

You need to teach them while you are working on Bitcoin, first of all, just explain the benefit using online system payment. Tell them bitcoin is the most popular nowadays, explain everything bit by bit over a long period of time so that it becomes easier for them to take in their brain. It would be a hard thing to do. Above 20's could happen but below that? They dont think much about this currencies yet. Yes they are teaching other currencies in school but not bitcoin. It is not yet in our academics. Getting them to listen to what we will explain will be really difficult, they might if you are their teacher.

You are right because young minds cant really adopt directly on what is bitcoin since they only knew the currency that they hold which fiat/local money on their place and if they heard about bitcoin they will surely refuse at all.

Oh yeah that's another consequence if we are going to expose them on how to earn money or bitcoin on their young age. But still I'm considering it depends on the parenthood and how you are going to handle situation with your kid. Simply using our common sense gives us the impression that having tons of money will give you financial freedom. I think no matter how hard you try, your kids would always be greedy. Right now, you might even be greedy too that's why you're here to earn more money. It's nothing personal or anything, it's just our human nature.

Exposing them how to earn money would also lead to them becoming more independent. To some this is a good thing, but mostly this creates distance from you to your kids. They wouldn't want to talk to you anymore since they can support themselves now.

I think it's a case-to-case basis. Some kids are okay with them being close to their parents even though they are already earning money while there are kids that would feel superior of you and just ignore you and become rebellious.

Of course children have to be exposed in computers. Children, even little kids, need to adapt to the environment. Their friends are probably on Facebook, are you not going to let him have a facebook account? Kids need computers for their assignments, or for school in general. When I was a kid, even though we don't have that much, I had to rent a computer just so I can do my assignments. There are also assignments that are needed to be passed to the teacher's email.

See that is the problem. Us people that are old think that kids need to have facebook accounts and spend time on their computers. What happens to proper or real socialization? If I were a kid and all I remember is surfing the web and browsing facebook then I know my life sucks. I wasted my time not playing with my neighbours and playing with toys seems perfect for me in ruining my childhood.

I agree with this, children must be in school and not be busy on earning bitcoin.
And in teenager, I guess let them see the advantages of having this so they will be persuaded to use it and earn it.
It will not be difficult if that is the first thing you will show them.
