Children can be said that bitcoin is money that can not be seen. They exist in the fabulous Internet world. However, you can buy things for them.

If we tell bitcoin to teenagers or children what it is of course they do not understand, I think the easiest way is to say bitcoin we can use to buy goods or equal money.

I'm a teenager and I was dragged into bitcoin myself. I always needed money to buy stuff which was out of reach of my pocket money. So I decided to work with Internet and try to go for many ways of earning such as paid to click websites and survey filling. I usually failed on these platforms and then I came across bitcoin one day. Here I'm today with bitcointalk which gave me immense knowledge about it. I learnt everything slowly (still learning) and carving the niche of earning with bitcoin. :-)

Don't explain it if they are not the one who is asking you about it first, because they might just ignore you after this, especially when they are going to find out that earning bitcoin is not easy compare on earning fiat, and if that happens, you've just waste your time on explaining it to them, besides, it will be time devaluation if you the one who is going to make the effort to help other people.

What is I'm saying is that, don't introduce bitcoin to everyone you knew, unless they are going to seek your help about this stuff.

It's good to know that your thinking about the future of children with crypto currencies. It's true that future may all end up with virtual world which runs on almighty internet and payments are also in the form of its virtue. Well the best way I could imagine is to introduce them to books which talks about the bitcoin or if they are too young then we can start establishing games which are dependent upon bitcoin itself. This will develop sense of crypto world into them and they might find it easy to work with once they understand the concept completely.

Bitcoin is difficult to explain. I also felt difficulties in understanding bitcoin for the firs time. Let's share how to explain bitcoin to children of teenagers. In My country I can say 98% children don't know bitcoin. In fact, bitcoin can be future money. If the children not familiar with cryptocurrency or bitcoin, how can they face the digital era in the future.
I prefer to explain about bitcoin through some detailed video, so they immediately understand and do not have many questions. Smiley

There are some good videos on yoututbe, like this one for example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Um63OQz3bjo

But I think you should draw the diagrams by yourself because you know your kid better than anyone else and thus you can make him interested in learning.

If a person understands what bitcoin is, I think that he will easily be able to draw any schedule and tell others about this currency. But I'm not sure that children will be interested in stories about bitcoin.

I think we should let them find out about bitcoin, we should only support them to let them learn about bitcoin so they are interested to understand bitcoin and know how to make money with bitcoin.

tell them like you are speaking to an adult, they must understand the value of having bitcoins. it is not just for them having a currency they can use for other services, they must also understand that having bitcoin is an investment, it is better to star at a young age for them to have financial literacy, not only they can use it for themselves, they can use it for the future,if they they are planning to financially free or f they want to have a life of their own, for the children we can make use of simple analogy, however for the teens, since most of them are aware of the technology today, we can explain to them in detail, however we also need to make sure that they don't misuse the knowledge we are providing them.

I've been down with Bitcoin since I was 14, nobody I knew at the time had a clue what Bitcoin was. I seem to remember that I was just at the start of my summer holiday and I had a lot of time on my hands.

About 2 days of reading and I was knowledgeable enough to create a wallet and joined the forum. Bitcoin is easy enough for people to get their head around alone. I'm self-educated on Bitcoin and whilst I still get things wrong, I have now managed to educate others and even got them to join the forum themselves. 3 years into Bitcoin (admittedly I have gone away for a while in the middle of this time though) and I now hold 80% of all my money in BTC. I've invested in the blockchain split and I when the price rises, I will only sell enough BTC to get the money I put into it, hopefully still leaving me with about £400 of BTC.

Crazy stuff.

If we tell  to teenagers or children what it is of course they do not understand, I think the easiest way is to say  we can use to buy goods or equal money.

Don't explain it if they are not the one who is asking you about it first, because they might just ignore you after this, especially when they are going to out that earning  is not easy compare on earning fiat, and if that happens, you've just waste your time on explaining it to them, besides, it will be time devaluation if you the one who is going to make the effort to help other people.

What is I'm saying is that, don't introduce  to everyone you knew, unless they are going to seek your help about this stuff.
I also think that it is useless to explain  to kids and teenagers. I think they need to complete their education first. bitcoin is currently using for trading and investment and therefore i think if children and teenagers will start learn about it then their education will be effected more. so i will suggest that they should fulfill their education first and after that they should start learning about bitcoin.

You're lucky but not all the teenagers are luck like you. We need the support of teenagers and young population to have more effective community around bitcoin. Teenagers are willing to know new things, so why not bitcoin? Very different from conventional money.

It seems inappropriate for children to recognize bitcoin because they still need basic knowledge for their formal education, except in adolescence, it may be very good to teach it about bitcoin, in addition to adding knowledge to them of course, it can also educate them to learn life Independent.

The best way teenagers be guided about bitcoin would be in school. If only in every schools bitcoin be tackle it would be most welcome by parents. Rather than teenagers addicted to any other computer games, it is good when they are adddicted to bitcoin.
