I am quite new here, but still having something to contribute:
I just managed to compile silk-core from scratch (on arch linux), after having some troubles (?due to a too recent c++ version?).

In any case, I managed to modify the 'src/chainparams.cpp ' similar to this fix:

and it compiled.

Now I have the client running, and after properly adding the nodes to my silk.conf it seems to be running.
However, I have no SLK and do not even know how to get some before bittrex starts listing them, of someone has some change so I can play around, my receiving address is:
ScyJtVwAbQKJuxcrxtvwhnB3wi9Tx5GSQQ

Do you mean you still see Silkcoin(SILK) as a balance in your Weaver wallet.

If so, this is because the swap period hasn't finished and will finalise once the ICO finishes.

Bittrex market and swap is happening and we are in direct contact with Richie/Bill/Ryan.

They will probably open the market and carry out the swaps at the same time.

We will notify the community the second we have a set time/day.

We are assuming Tuesday/Wednesday.



The DarkSilk(DSLK) ICO will begin at 9pm (EST) on Wednesday the 21st September.

Users will be assigned an ICO address within Weaver, on their account to send BTC to.

These addresses are derived from the extended public key of the 4/6 MultiSig wallet.

The first Silk-Seeder is up and running. You guys can remove the addnodes from your wallets if you would like to now. Everyone should be getting the maximum possible connections.

If anyone has issues with DNS connections please document the errors in your debug.log file in the Silk data directory and then write up an issue and we will solve it for you ASAP.

Thank you, I lost that announcement but as I can see from the latest updates now it is possible to withdraw from the weaver! Very nice work all of you.
