Update on my old silkcoin wallet. Still not syncing and has been stuck at block 1758337. Coins are still stuck in staking. The coins that I did manage to get out to the weaver have arrived in the weaver. My question now is, "how do we swap silkcoin to silk once the silkcoin has arrived in the weaver?" Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, my wallet is on block 1758337 as well. Until a stake happens the chain will not move. I was hoping to see it move quicker than this but if nobody is staking (or very few) then it will move very slow. I should have foreseen something like this and left a few in my wallet.

About those late ones:
will they be able to switch to Silk(SLK) later on this year or next year for example
will they be able to get Stormnodes after the ICO's end (at a different rate probably)

We are currently hard at work getting all the paperwork together and logos etc.

To ensure that you have the whole picture and all the information possible.

Sorry for the quietness, just hard at work.

It's good to have updates anyway, once a day is not much if you think. Okay then, we wait for the new creatures and in meanwhile we keep on staking.
I would not underestimate the potential effect the rebrand is going to have on the project. I must admit I am a bit worried and excited as well.

Having daily updates is useless.
Having questions answered daily is usefull for people that dont read.

Personally I think weekly or 2weekly updates should be more than enough.

Daily updates would feel like i'm glued to the screen hitting F5, not the addiction i'm seeking for.
The rebrand will find potential after launch.. when delivery, continuation team, roadmap hitting deadlines.
When this trust is gained I see good future ahead.

Good will come for those that have patience.

I have a bunch stuck staking as well.  I unlocked my wallet for staking, hopefully it works itself out by the morning...

I don't know when you started following this project but as far as I am concerned I am here since February. I don't want daily updates either but I would like to see more engagement in "difficult times". I agree with you about the rebrand, I know we must wait but after quite a few time I would like to have a clearer vision from the team.

Here is a small update for you guys. We are still rigorously testing DarkSilk (and Silk too). I was testing stealth addresses specifically here, with some mining, and more in the back.

Can I still participate in the ICO?

Mineable ERC 20 tokens are the future.

with this rebranding, the ico will not be extended? i thought i would be.. since the name might have something to do with the small amount collected.

ICO terms were clearly stated upfront so I would think an extension would be out of the question and unfair to the rest of the community.

I can not understood why I participate in ICO DarkSilk, if I can buy a coin (SLK) to Bittrex!
Who can answer me in what is now take benefit of participating in the ICO Huh

SLK and DSLK are two different coins, two seperate chains. Both tokens are good to have.
If you want to buy SLK use Bittrex
If you want to buy DSLK you may use the price advantage at Bittrex, else buy at Weaver
up until a price of 1570 sat for Silk it would be beneficial to buy and swap SLK for DSLK.

Thank you for your elucidation, I thought that the coins are the same Wink

Can I still participate in the ICO?

I have SLK @bittrex, If I move them to the Wheaver (Silk (ICO)) address, then, the SLK can be swapped for dslk?

Is there some risk to lost the coins due to issues in the network, or the chain is working well?

People talking about issues are taking about the old Silkcoin and the old chain.

Silk(SLK) has zero issues and the chain is working better than well Cheesy

19hrs 20mins left of the ICO.

Is there a predefined swap ratio?  slk / dslk?

2014, My perspective on the teams vision is that it still has to take vorm.
The commitment of the team on the other hand is very clear, they want the best possible outcome for this project.
This is already proven by work done.

I understand having "blind" faith is hard these days but the faith in this team isnt exactly blind, they have put faces behind it and have done almost everything to gain trust. only thing that you can argue with is meeting deadlines, but we all know when creating something problems will show up along the way.
